Also, Kevin always falls for the educated/motivated type girls. That's really good for him.

I just wish Kevin could meet a girl that doesn't have to come off as a hardass all the time. Jemma and now his love interest are very different but still the same. Jemma acts the way she does, because she was to portray she came from a rough life and she is bout it. I thought that was a positive thing when her trauma was brought up. This is going to let keisha know her story is inspiring and can help others, this could potentially be therapy for keisha. Great reviews all the time. Stay keeping it 💯
@@houseofmatrix6174 Not soo much shocked considering we know who Douda really is but, this episode was pretty lighthearted/feel-good up until that moment. I knew there would be a turn at some point!
I didn't care for Love Jones either Ashley....my favorite black romance movie is Have Plenty. Anybody remember that one? That's a deep cut ❤🥰 And I started singing right along with Papa and Kevin! I fell out when Papa put his glasses on when the song said "I can see clearly now" 👓 🤣🤣🤣
My favorite is love and basketball. I liked Love Jones, but it was not my ideal romance. The style of courtship in that movie is how Psychopaths court their women.
I believe Jada is not going to survive cancer. The way her scenes are playing out, she seems to be seeking closure with Donnell and Dre and preparing Emmitt for her death.
I like Christian. I really think he is a good guy who came into Keisha's life with the purest intentions. Keisha doesn't need to go through anymore trauma. She has little Ronnie to raised. I enjoyed watching Jada, Emmett and Darnell. They felt like a real family. "Let the motherfucker die." Douda is a straight sociopath. Octavia is an angel. I'm glad Keisha has her in her life.
It was boring again smh… only the last 10 minutes was interesting… Lena should have got somebody else to play Reg and Brandon cuz the story line is all over the place. Season 1 and 2 was the best .
Tabitha Brown is so natural playing that role - I love it. Ashley, you're right...Nina is really pissing me off for not being there for Keisha or Kevin. She should be ashamed of herself!!!
I also think if he's serious about that house, the realtor will put in a word with the buyers and make that happen because she might think Emmitt and Kiesha are a couple
😂😂 this comment is funny, but yeah the movie is alright. I like it, don’t love it like love and basketball. I feel like even brown sugar is better than Love Jones, but that’s just me.
Far as Emmett goes im glad he said the house was for his mom and not him and Tiffany because she is going to continue to do her no matter what but he has grown a lot
Again, what grade are these kids in? How is Poppa going to be an assistant manager? Doesn't he have school? When did Jake get a license? Can he drive because Treg is the fake police? Where is Nina and Dre? Why did Treg, Douda, and Marcus hang out together? Were they waiting for Jake and Jemma to come back? How did Kevin get into a school dance when he's expelled? Won't they notice him and a random chick? It's not like a lot of Blacks go to the school. Also why isn't he going to school back with Poppa and Myiesha? Is Kevin a drop out? Why was Jake so appreciative of Douda when just a couple of episodes ago he was telling about how he hated him. Sorry, I have questions and this isn't all, lol. Lena.... Bitch, lol.
I don't think Marcus dies. I think Trig is gonna call an ambulance or drive him to the hospital. In the sneak peek of next week's finale, Jemma didn't seem too distraught when she was walking through the hallway saying she was going to find out who did this to her dad. But I could be wrong. Is it just me or did anyone else have a feeling that Emmet's baby mama is also dating Christian?! Like.....I wanna trust him, but I feel like that would just be too easy to do. I hope I'm wrong, but something popped in my head when she was talking to Emmet about her new man. Nina.........lost me this season. Her kids needed her more than ever and she just seemed to fail them at every turn. Maybe she still feels guilty for not being able to protect Keisha from what she went through, but.......she's just not present enough for them. I think Dre's going to ask for some space/time. I can't see them trying to wrap this up neatly for the season finale.
I don't think Jake is going to get hurt. because remember, it was Jake who wanted to tell Kevin earlier on. However, looks like Jemma is getting her karma in a different way. What happened to her dad is pretty awful from her perspective. I think that's why the did that scene with them having dinner and bonding over cake. They wanted to show that Jemma had a solid bond with her dad. So him in the situation he is in, IS THE KARMA
Nina been a damn mess the whole season lol like I really don’t like her now! I’m mad that Kevin just easily forgave Jake I could never🤣🤣 I knew once Douda was at Marcus house he was coming for blood and blood only. Jemma gon be pissed once she finds out Jake knew I know she’s gonna find out somehow someway that Jake knew what happened to her dad when they pulled off
Jemima is getting on my nerves. I don't like her anymore. I was impressed at first with pride of being black and fighting a purpose for getting the history of the black struggle. Now her sexual behavior is just ridiculous.
I honestly thought they were going to kill Jada off at the end of the episode. They hadn't been giving her story this much camera time and honestly as soon as someone has a eerily good day on here, they die. They killed Ronnie in Episode 9 last season after having the good day with Tracy.
I feel like these stories are incomplete as a sign of the times. Like they scenes are so sporadic, and it’s probably because they only taped these stories at certain points during filming. They seemed to only focus on the main characters. As if they were only able to do but so much with the pandemic. They probably had a small window to tape, and could only tape with a certain amount of people at a time. Think it was most likely taped this time last year. That’s probably why it’s only ten episodes like the rest of these shows that seem so lack luster this television season.
I feel like the boys all have different fathers being that the mother was a junky. Or Trig and Reg have the same parents. I feel like Jakes father is different being that the mother was a junky and he’s so much younger.
When did Marcus & Jemma move? In all of the previous episodes, they were in a greystone type building. Last night, they were in a whole house! They popped Roslyn in outta nowhere and now took her right back out. It's the inconsistent writing for me!
I still haven't sat and watched the whole movie of Love Jones yet.I couldn't get into it , but Larenz in Dead Presidents, Menace 3 Society, or Why do fools fall in love I will watch all day on repeat
Baby at this moment I need the writers to do character development on Gemma or a character arc if you will since certain people don’t like her like that ; girl the way I gaped when you said dude that play Marcus is a supporter🤦🏾♀️
The part where you said the realtor said have respect for Keisha. You have to understand WE are following Keisha and the story. We know she is CURRENTLY still dealing with this. However we have to recognized this is almost a Year later. So she didn't mean no harm about it. I get why we as viewers felt some type away. But I look back at it, you can tell Keisha was ok with the Realtor's respect and compassion for being a survivor. As for the part about Kevin and Jake being boys after Jake is with his girl. I PERSONALLY do not believe in dating or messing with my best friends current girls OR EVEN ex's. HOWEVER...I do know many dudes who say bros before ho's. I think the writers are trying to cram a lot in to 10 episodes...but if I had it my way....they should have had Kevin find a new path with new friends, and allow time to pass. Then create a traumatic situation that brings Kevin and Jake back together to squash it.
Am I the only one think that the guy Keisha is dating is probably going to be the key to her being back to herself? I don’t think they gonna go off in the sunset but sometimes ppl come in your life to help you get back to yourself
Cherry is Lynae sister-in-law. They're also the only fans couple that Tracey and Trig keep separating. Lynae bro is on the run after shooting Cherry bro.
Give her time??? You kidding me?! We all get karma and it comes to a point where you have to move past the karma and get back a life you deserve. He may have done some fuck shit but TIFF kept taking him back. Her fault too. She coulda left him alone. Emmitt has EVERY right to drop tiff. Tiff is not just enjoying an open marriage, she's in a whole side RELATIONSHIP...she has feelings for Donte. On TOP of his mother having cancer and dealing with that, he's supposed to keep eating karma from Tiff too?? Some of y'all kill me smh
To me this whole episode didn't make sense. The story line was just random and incomplete. They should face expounded on the Octavia-Keisha- baby Ronnie story regarding when she asked for the baby back. And how was Kevin allowed into the dance after getting expelled?
I was waiting for someone to mention how different the writing is now. I've been waiting for bombs to drop with Donte and Tiff or Kisha and Christian or Triggs girl and the Marcus Weaver character but literally nothing panned from those story lines. Even the trap house Trigg shut down or Kisha and the adoption story or the women in the trap house...nothing. and next week is the last episode. This season was pretty uneventful and full of open story lines
Yeah, Trig kicked Shad out and Shad is just gonna be cool about it? Was Imani at the trap house cleaning it and the girls up? Did Tracey just throw her hands up with the lcommunity policing effort since she & Trig didn't get the funding? So many questions. Could the lackluster writing this season be blamed on the Pandemic?
After they killed Q off screen the beginning of the second season I saw how the show just drops storylines. Especially after the second season built up this whole case with the two cops n Brandon against Douda n they just dropped it. I understand Jason Mitchell's character getting dropped (even tho he was truly the link for this show's story) but the cops too?! N they did so well with the white cop showing why he felt so deeply about the unjust killing of a young black man. I never seen it from the cops perspective
I love you Ashley! I love both movies...this episode was a lot, Jake and jemma issue he saw his family killing her father. Emmit has evolved buying mom a house. Kev told ol girl I am a nice guy that's who I am. Octavia is gone help keisha to inspire other people with her story like paid speaking engagements. I want keisha and Christian to make it their cute. I hope Emmit marriage works. But I love seeing these kids growing up...Ashley you stay keeping it 💯
Girl, this review is everything I felt up down left and right. This episode is all over with no conclusion on things previously open. So tiff just went to stay with her mom or something? Where is EJ? Mia and Dre just off on a staycation? Where was Imani? I know she would have wanted to be there for Jake as a mother figure. I guess it's hard to keep up with all the storylines.
Yeah I see exactly where you going with that Ashley. I think that would have been a real good storyline if Keisha and that lady would have took it to court

Jemma acts the way she does, because she was to portray she came from a rough life and she is bout it. Then you have his new love interest who is from that life and is very much acting the same way as Jemma. It's hard for me to explain in text here, but I just want Kevin to find a girl that can value is corniness.
Douda is a monster
Yes!!! His moms wasn’t lying!!!!
PeriodT
This season is all over the place smh
Hell yeah it started off good
Yes it is and its annoying
Even that beating came out of no where. I get it Marcus had it coming, but beat the man to death in his house really? I hope he makes it, cause Jemma needs her dad. Even though I don’t like her, but she doesn’t deserve that.
Exactly 🤦♀️ smh
@@naomibeautymind6226 I thought it just be one punch but he went overboard
Lynae needs to go live with Octavia. They could be good for each other!
I thought that was a positive thing when her trauma was brought up. This is going to let keisha know her story is inspiring and can help others, this could potentially be therapy for keisha. Great reviews all the time. Stay keeping it 💯
Ashley,I LITERALLY just finished watching this Episode seconds ago with credits rolling when I got your notification!!!Crazy.
Was you shock by what Douda did?
@@houseofmatrix6174 Not soo much shocked considering we know who Douda really is but, this episode was pretty lighthearted/feel-good up until that moment. I knew there would be a turn at some point!
@@lp6314 it was light hearted I was shock Douda would be that reckless in my opinion. Marcus think he mayor for some reason .
I can’t believe that the season finale is next week
I feel like we haven’t gotten a clear story
I know huh it's just came back
@@rosedavis7591 they tweaking I don’t know how we got season finale
I didn't care for Love Jones either Ashley....my favorite black romance movie is Have Plenty. Anybody remember that one? That's a deep cut ❤🥰
And I started singing right along with Papa and Kevin! I fell out when Papa put his glasses on when the song said "I can see clearly now" 👓 🤣🤣🤣
My favorite is love and basketball. I liked Love Jones, but it was not my ideal romance. The style of courtship in that movie is how Psychopaths court their women.
I love have plenty ! That’s me and my homeboy favorite movie.
That movie underrated.
I also never get the hype of Love Jones...thought it was just me lmao.
I believe Jada is not going to survive cancer. The way her scenes are playing out, she seems to be seeking closure with Donnell and Dre and preparing Emmitt for her death.
🥺🥺🥺
I hope not, but I was thinking the same. 😢💔
Imma be pissed
She gets a call from the doc saying she go be ok…
I like Christian. I really think he is a good guy who came into Keisha's life with the purest intentions. Keisha doesn't need to go through anymore trauma. She has little Ronnie to raised.
I enjoyed watching Jada, Emmett and Darnell. They felt like a real family.
"Let the motherfucker die." Douda is a straight sociopath.
Octavia is an angel. I'm glad Keisha has her in her life.
Marcus deserved every one of those hits from Douda. He forget Douda was a street thug.
It was boring again smh… only the last 10 minutes was interesting… Lena should have got somebody else to play Reg and Brandon cuz the story line is all over the place. Season 1 and 2 was the best .
Agreed! Only the last 10 mins. the best part of this episode.
Tabitha Brown is so natural playing that role - I love it. Ashley, you're right...Nina is really pissing me off for not being there for Keisha or Kevin. She should be ashamed of herself!!!
I think realtor went through the exact same situation that Keshia went through in one way or another
I also think if he's serious about that house, the realtor will put in a word with the buyers and make that happen because she might think Emmitt and Kiesha are a couple
Love Jones is only worth looking at for Nia and Larenz.
My wife's favorite movie. Its alright to me but, really good soundtrack!
I anticipate your review like I do the show!
Girl......I live for your reviews!!!!
The Luke James storyline in #thechi is boring as fuck
When did Jake go to drivers ed!?
Right ?!
Right?! I was like this man is driving now?
And how old are they?? 😂😂
Lena.... Bitch, lol.
That "Lena...Bitch." was a whole mood for me!🤣🤣🤣🤣
There's no flow to the story anymore. Brandon use to be the link that tied everything together
She. Could. Be. Dating. Jada's. Guy.
Damn I didn’t think about that… Emmett could be dating Christian or Suade.
I stg I called what happened to Marcus and it happened while I was finishing my tweet 😂 I want Jemma and Jake to hurt like they hurt kevin
Lmao cold blooded
I don't think Jake is going to get hurt. because remember, it was Jake who wanted to tell Kevin earlier on. However, looks like Jemma is getting her karma in a different way. What happened to her dad is pretty awful from her perspective. I think that's why the did that scene with them having dinner and bonding over cake. They wanted to show that Jemma had a solid bond with her dad. So him in the situation he is in, IS THE KARMA
Ashley...Youhad me crying when you said you wanted "Douuu Da" back😂😂😂😂
Your expression after you spoke about Jemma finding her daddy dead💀 💀💀I’m dead😂
I'm hitting the like button in advance, I gotta go watch this episode, I'll be back to watch. You quick with the reviews. ❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Nina been a damn mess the whole season lol like I really don’t like her now! I’m mad that Kevin just easily forgave Jake I could never🤣🤣 I knew once Douda was at Marcus house he was coming for blood and blood only. Jemma gon be pissed once she finds out Jake knew I know she’s gonna find out somehow someway that Jake knew what happened to her dad when they pulled off
Welp...Kevin DID say last episode that one day she will come running back. And he may be right. 🤷🏾♂️
Jemima is getting on my nerves. I don't like her anymore. I was impressed at first with pride of being black and fighting a purpose for getting the history of the black struggle. Now her sexual behavior is just ridiculous.
P-R-E-A-C-H...I don't even think she's about equality, BLM or Black history. She clearly loves the sound of her own voice! 🤣🤣🤣
😂they turned it up louder
😂😂right I woulda did the same thing
Funny you say that about Love Jones because I watched it with different eyes after the last episode and it was ok. I still get all the hype. Lol
How about that jagged edge intro loved it keven didn’t give a s***
Was I think only one bopping and singing to it too?lol
F I n a l l y I was waiting for this review lol
🤣🤣🤣
Darnell is a sugar daddy🤣😅😅
Ok I sholl been looking for this review. I thought you weren't feeling well or something. I love your reviews
Ashley I been peaked that about Douda and them three brothers but if he ain't the father there mom was his high school crush or something
I feel like the boys all have different fathers being that the mother was a junky. Or Trig and Reg have the same parents. I feel like Jakes father is different being that the mother was a junky and he’s so much younger.
Where is Lala and Kandi?
Lala been missing for like 4 episodes
Kandi aka Rose left Douda. Trig mentioned that to Marcus.
And Tracy 😂
Kandi won't be on the show anymore I miss her 😕
When did Marcus & Jemma move?
🙋🏽♀️ i like love and basketball movie better as well.
Ashley love her some douda 😍😍😍😍 i enjoyed that scene too douda dont play
How did half of everyone see The Chi this afternoon, but the other half had to wait until tonight to watch?
I watched it this morning on demand. If you have it the episodes go up at midnight
@@Aubreythetyler2569 Thanks
@ juanesha brokensilenze
Been waiting for this review!!!!
Am I the only one think that the guy Keisha is dating is probably going to be the key to her being back to herself? I don’t think they gonna go off in the sunset but sometimes ppl come in your life to help you get back to yourself
I think Keisha may become a victim advocate
That wasn’t Lenays momma. It’s her brother girlfriend.
Cherry is Lynae sister-in-law. They're also the only fans couple that Tracey and Trig keep separating. Lynae bro is on the run after shooting Cherry bro.
i think christian is the son of the man that kidnapped keisha
*Where is Dre and Nina???? You too funny @Ashley!!!!* 🤣😅😄
👌 LOVE 💘 YOUR REVIEWS!
Also I look for your reviews cause I watch early and you post earrly
I love how you review like this is real.
I think that realtor gonna make sure they get that house!
Harold Washington would never.
I also think that Love Jones is/was overrated.
Ashley you are too young to truly appreciate Love Jones, that was my generation.
Lol. I watched it so many times, I know ALL of the lines. Soundtrack is one of my all time favorites too.
Truth...ypu must be my age lol
Give her time??? You kidding me?! We all get karma and it comes to a point where you have to move past the karma and get back a life you deserve. He may have done some fuck shit but TIFF kept taking him back. Her fault too. She coulda left him alone. Emmitt has EVERY right to drop tiff. Tiff is not just enjoying an open marriage, she's in a whole side RELATIONSHIP...she has feelings for Donte. On TOP of his mother having cancer and dealing with that, he's supposed to keep eating karma from Tiff too?? Some of y'all kill me smh
Love Jones is mediocre at best... sorry I said it... here's my black card ⬛
🤣🤣🤣
NINA TO BUSY DROWNING IN GUILT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HER KIDS RIGHT NOW
OMG DOUDA IS A BEAST 😳😳😳🥺🥺
To me this whole episode didn't make sense. The story line was just random and incomplete. They should face expounded on the Octavia-Keisha- baby Ronnie story regarding when she asked for the baby back. And how was Kevin allowed into the dance after getting expelled?
My favorite white movie is Steel Magnolias too lol ima cry every single time lol
Good episode & good review!
Douda ain’t fa no games
Tabitha is going to maybe look after the baby when Keshia gets into school. Nina is going to feel a way. Just watch.
Yeah I see exactly where you going with that Ashley. I think that would have been a real good storyline if Keisha and that lady would have took it to court
I'm glad u said it cause I def like LnB over love jones.
