honestly, it sounds so cliche but at the end of the day, it's true. "Life just isn't THAT serious" could be synonymous to "YOLO" to some. Yet, if you take a moment and simply say it to yourself... reflect on it's every meaning. You might come along to the thought that we really are just a spec of dust in the entirety of time.
At the end of the day, some could say our lives are meaningless in the grand scheme of things (universally). However, our minds have most certainly been engineered in a way, that gives us a strongly bolstered, intrinsic feeling of exploration. This gives us our meaning. Curiosity of what is known and unknown. We are solely driven by this emotion alone. People could name any other emotion but Curiosity is at the root of all other emotions.
Being alive, being conscious, gives meaning to life on it's own. And that's the point. Something gave us this... voice? This partner in crime helping us think ahead, in the moment or reflect on the past. They keep us honest. They don't let us ignore potential concerns with our surroundings.... I mean just think about that. Such a wild concept. We don't even know if other beings can think like this. It's crazy.
Anyway, weird tangent. I'm high as fuck and went on a rabbit hole tonight and somehow ended up here. Spent 30min on writing this comment that will probably amount to nothing.

What shall I or ever will I? That's have to say. He has an audience or class which is why I say in order to say at all we're believing the audience we intend. No matter what the audience exists and is on some of our minds. Just saying, screening out, touching these keys, so called typing to this at this, for it in the way one would say because. His life, Alan Watts. His life lived/loved before mine to some degree he is most present, almost too present.
I swear there used to be loads more Alan Watts snippets on this channel, where did they all go? It says your oldest video is a year old but I seem to remember this channel existing before then or am I finally losing the plot? 🤷🏼♂️
