Wow! It's been so long since I've gotten to fish. I used to love fly fishing and tying flies. I zipped off after seeing this video and read where carp are now a "thing" for fly fishing, too. That doesn't look like Florida, tho. Is that limestone back there in the background? Just curious. Looks like so much fun. Gosh are they big! Plus I'd never even heard of "Mirror Carp" before. I would suggest not using lip grabbers on carp as you can see that 3rd carp was bleeding and it looks like its top lip got pulled off that's why it fell.
I appreciate the advice, they were so hard to control without. I will try my best to do without the the lip grabbers and live with a little bit more slime (can't kill me) :). This was the first time I used grabbers on Carp, and was a learning experience thanks to feedback like yours Stuart. Thank you for watching.
