*chill album* "Ibiza Jams" by Cosmosis & Quantica

This music came from a series of improvised electronic studio jam sessions in Ibiza, autumn 2018. Using loops, laptops, live synths, guitars and dub delays.
Usually just Eric Quantica and I, but occasionally we managed to rope Joe Sonic Species into joining in.
The live jams were recorded to multi-track and later, the best performances were selected then edited down to sensible lengths, e.q'd, generally tarted up then finally mixed down to produce the individual tracks you hear on this album.

As an Old guy (Age 60), longtime music geek, lover of experimental / avant garde / Euro prog / jamband / Industrial / etc types of music, I Truly appreciate this type of Trip Hop / Chillax / Trance / Ambient influenced EDM. Much of the EDM Chaff that's out there is what my music geek buddies call "Untz Untz", utterly dominated by fast raging beats, not really much variation from track to track, or even artist to artist. DJ's like you are few & far between. I'd certainly include the EDM/organic instrument fusion bands like Shpongle, Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Bonobo, Gorillaz, etc, along with DJ's like Hugo Kant (if I'm leaving anyone out it's due to brain dysfunction). Keep on Keeping On!!!! If you tour live & play the states, be sure to visit the Philadelphia area, lots of local bands in the Philly area doing similar things, loads of receptive venues, audiences.

Huh, it's been more than a decade from the last check on the Cosmosis releases. Sorry, my fault as I'm out of the psy scene quite a bit and your last album I heard was Trancedance.
Man, I can't describe you what a pleasure was to listen to your jams with Quantica and Ajja. Your sound signature has matured so beautifully that you managed to take my mind to beautiful places, places I even forgotten existed.

Wow this is a new one for me, I can still remember the day I bought albums Intergalactic, cosmology, and synergy, all on the same day, loved the album covers as much as the tunes, superb times hallucinating to them.

@@alex.reinert The album cover itself is a shot of Es Vedra which is the remains of a volcano just off the coast of Ibiza not far from where we made the music. I can't remember where I got that particular image. Most of the other images are fantasy art sourced online. I chose the images, did the layouts, text overlays and colours etc. Glad ya like em!

Both him & Cosmosis kick ass. I was blown away when I found our Ajja played guitar and then got turned on to Cosmosis.
