    Hi Guys! What about “bedsit”? What’s it?

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  Před 9 dny

      Good question - a bedsit is something you find in the UK. A bed sit is just 1 bedroom, and you share a bathroom and a kitchen with other house-mates, sometimes it can be 2, 3 or more people. This is not a common choice for a vacation though. Usually people living in bed-sits live and work in an expensive city, like London!

    Hi!" I'll bring you sth back. " it's weird a little bit. " bring you sth back." means i take sth from you and then i give it back to you, i bring it back to you, right?

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  Před 11 dny +1

      It is weird! But the long form for “I’ll bring you something back” would be “I’ll buy something on my trip and bring it back to give to you” maybe as a souvenir or a gift
      “I’ll give it back” more commonly means I’ll take something from you and give it back to you .

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  Před 11 dny +1
