Thrift Flip | Up Cycling Jeans | easy DIY denim pleated skirt, corset & shoulder bag

Hey guys! I am back again with another thrift flip. This is my first video using a sewing machine! DO NOT WORRY, I am not discontinuing my hand sewing tutorials. I just want to be able to put out more content for you guys and have a variety of these sewing videos on my channel. In this video, I am transforming three pairs of jeans into a pleated skirt, corset and a shoulder bag. I am not a professional, so don't take this video too seriously! Hopefully, this video is enjoyable to watch and gives you some inspiration to revamp unwanted pieces in your closet. Please leave any questions and video suggestions in the comments below.

That pleated jean skirt flip is adorable. It definitely gives retro Y2K vibes yet it’s still timeless because it’s not a micro-mini skirt like the Y2K version of this look.

how much seaming allowance did u leave for the length ??

you always want to leave about half an inch to an inch of seam allowance! Honestly my best advice is for any beginners to leave as most seam allowance as possible, so you can easily correct any mistakes that you may come across :))
