I used to work in the Guitar Gallery at Sweetwater so I have played a lot of these. Despite its looks, the Nuno Bettencourt Washburn is an incredible guitar. It sounds great, has unparalleled upper fret access, and has a super comfortable neck. 10/10
After 30+ years of playing/buying/selling guitars, I finally bought my first N4. There is no finer guitar available; the Majesty is close. I now have three N4's in different woods. Sold all other guitars except for RG that I custom built.
I'm absolutely in love with the Ibanez JEM and I feel it's definitely up there among the most legendary guitars like Dime's and EVH's signature models. Absolutely gorgeous
The handle on the Jem is surprisingly useful. I've got two Jems, and I find myself using the monkey grip all the time. It's kind of silly looking, but I honestly wish all guitars had them, from a pure utility standpoint.
I was in the guitar store to buy my first guitar. I want to buy a Les Paul, but then I saw a Marty Friedman Kelly (1998 Japan). I had to buy this guitar. Plays very nice.
Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche...ESP carved TriRyche (the Queensryche emblem) is the coolest guitar I have ever seen. If you rate a Hetfield guitar, it should be the ESP EET FUK guitar. Dimebag's Dean guitar feels very good to play on: Strings very close to neck without buzzing. It sort of feels like it plays itself. Downside: It's very big, and heavy. Massive guitar!
I got one of those Schecter avenger things practicly for free. Never been a fan of Synyster Gates but the guitar is fenomenal and the bodyshape grows on you, thankfully mine doesn’t have that stripe paintjob. The shape is the definition of fugly!
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! 2:13 I just saw this guitar in a dream without knowing it existed! I swear, I just had a dream last night where I was in some sort of thriftstore and I came across this guitar with odd cutaway and covered with lots of white stripes. Good point about Jason Becker. His style was very fun and playful. He had a unique voice that often had some nursery rhyme type melodies mixed in. No telling how much more he could have become. Glad he's still around, expressing himself, and still expiring us.
Man… when I was a kid I was obsessed with that Marty Friedman Jackson Kelly. I would bring my Musicians Friend catalog to school and show all my friends on the bus how awesome it was… and no one cared. 😂 it was hard being a metal kid in the 90’s. I still want that guitar in the worst way.
My favorite guitar design is the Peter Tosh M16 guitar. Had to mention it before the end of the video so im not sure if it is listed in this. Hope you guys know what im talking about
Brian May's guitar has a really cool history behind it. His father made it out of a table top and a 100 year old wood beam from a fireplace. There were also parts from his mother's sewing kit. Also, that guitar has never been refretted
Everyone has their favorite signature guitar, but everyone knows that the Sonic the Hedgehog ESP guitar truly is the most badass guitar of all time, including the Shadow guitar. Im also talking about the Shoe headstock, truly the fastest guitar in existance.
I bought an Ernie Ball John Petrucci Majesty a few years ago, and although it was the most unnecessarily expensive purchase I've ever made that's not a car, its the greatest guitar I've ever played and I love it to death
As a Steve Vai JEM enjoyer, the handle serves no purpose other than letting people see what’s hiding behind the guitar. And if you wear the strap low enough, you can play hide the salami with your guitar
recently bought ESP Edwards alexi pink sawtooth. been wanting alexi's sig model since i started playing so it was a dream come true. beyond legendary guitar
I think I heard Vai say in an interview once the point of the monkey grip being they wanted to come up with something no one in their right mind would copy off of their design. I could totally see that being the case!
I have only been playing for 3 years and only own 5 guitars but I bought the a Schecter Loomis 7 string signature for my birthday a couple months ago and it is the best guitar I have ever played in my life. After playing this guitar for months I dont think I’ll ever buy a guitar that isnt schecter ever again. No its not a super crazy guitar but I think simplicity of its design adds to its charm and the feel and quality is the best ive ever experienced. I think it deserves more than a C tier.

@shelbyavant5081 I've played his Rust in Peace dean signature and his new Gibson as well and I liked the Dean more. The Gibson wasn't even finished really.
