Firstly Congratulations to you and your son Sir 💐💐💐👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Amazing job and video from your end Sir.. This was really required. Last 2 days I have been watching videos from other influencers who were creating a panic mode and encouraging EV and here’s your video. I was thinking to mail you today and request to make a video on this topic … I swear but when I checked your video it was like wow …. You are a inspiration and a good example to automotive sector. It shows your character, honesty and being genuine to your viewers. Hope others learn this from you as an example rather than making paid content and promotions at all times. Happy and proud to follow you and watch your videos at all times since last 3 years. 🙌🏻

    1. Hybrid pe tax kam kare considerably (Maruti, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai have the technology)
    2. Hybrid, cng, flex fuel pe focus kare sarkar as a transitionary medium for ultimate ev goal.
    3. Logistics sector sara diesel pe chalta h. Diesel car saal ki 20k chalti h, whereas ek truck mhine me chal jata h utna. So priority kya honi chaiye!!!
Plus all hybrid,ev vehicles have braking regeneration. Now imagine a truck having 3-4tonne weight, when it brakes all the momentum leads to very high recharging.

There might be role of EV manufacturers like DTH operators did against the cable operators, though TRI proclaimed that you pay for only the channel you watch, but most of the viewers were having 320 tv channels in 200 Rs and after so called cheaper viewing and after all we used to pay double price for half no of channels

I just sold my dzire, 2008 model for a new wrv petrol.
My dzire was running like butter with only 55k on it.
I sold it for just over a lakh to scrap yard. It was a tough decision for me to let go of a smooth running well kept vehicle just like that. Felt like a father of a 👰, jk.
But on a serious note, the car plying rules in India are immature and the PUC is also not up to the mark. I have driven in US and my car had to go through much more rigorous check to be clear for running and there is no limit on it if it passes the test.
Similarly, Aadhar card was made mandatory for verification of kyc etc despite you having passport, DL, voter ID, pan etc that were issued before and had independent validity. Pan had to be linked to Aadhar or it would become invalid. If this isn't unconstitutional, then I don't know what is.
Bottom line is any certificate issued by government is subject to revision without your consent at their own free will. You take the risk of getting it on your own. This is a partial fascism.

Manufacturing of new Diesel cars after 2027 will be banned we can understand this. But totally banning existing Diesel cars to run on road which we have already purchased by paying a heavy road tax , cess and all others taxes is absolutely ridiculous. The existing Diesel cars should be allowed to run as the RC book validity and after if they find these vehicles are crossing the pollution limits prescribed then they can ban else they should be allowed to re register their cars and again run for a period of 5 years. This should be the solution.

  • @candidonthestreetanupamgos5283

Hum diesel cars hi kharidenge. Second hand hi sahi. Being a driving enthusiast, jabtak diesel exist karegi hum diesel hi chalayenge. Recently second hand S-CROSS 1.3 diesel li he. Registration 2031 tak hein. Toh 2031 tak full value extract karke scrap karenge aur phirse ek second hand diesel kharidenge.
This is the best way to enjoy diesel considering the present indications. Buy second hand. So agar kabhi sachme band ho bhi gayee toh jyada loss nahi hoga ek brand new diesel ke comparison me.

Congratulations to your son and to you n ur family for his achievements. Best wishes for his future. I would like to add a point about the EV push - India's electricity produce is mainly fossil fuel (read coal) based with renewable sources (water, wind, solar etc) contributing IN AGGREGATE NOT EVEN IN DOUBLE DIGITS AS % SHARE OF TOTAL PRODUCTION. 2nd point - batteries presently are lithium batteries - WHAT ABOUT LITHIUM EXTRACTION AND ITS ASSOCIATED HAZARDS???? Last but not the least - WHAT ABOUT BATTERY DISPOSAL AFTER ITS EFFECTIVE LIFE - WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF IT??? The facts (all of the above) remain BUT the people who want to benefit from any and all issues just show only that much part of the fact, only which is beneficial to them - probably basic human nature of being opurtunistic always. Its very encouraging to see your videos as you give very impartial statements, try to show the entire picture facts. Kudos to your efforts. Ardent follower of your channel!

The government should Reimburse the taxes they charged for extra 5 years or should give exemption on next car as Diesel car owners have paid for 15 years and not just 10 year. At least now people know that they are buying new deisel car for only 10 years but what about the previously purchased cars and their buyers who were not at all aware about the new policy.

I have 2007 Honda Civic Petrol and 2011 Audi A6 Diesel and both run so well and butter smooth, regularly maintained and serviced. And looking at the build quality of new age cars , which are more of appliance than cars, i don't feel need to buy any new vehicle. If such stupid policies are brought in as blanket rule pan India then it will be really heartbreaking. 😢 . So is PUC a big racket government is running? If my cars are passing PUC test that means they are fit for the road. How can govt. have same rule for each car. If govt is so worried about population then why politician's convoy has 50-50 cars, why govt is running fuel guzzler cars for their departments., why ridiculously mainteined state transport buses are still plying on road?
Are EVs really pollution free? What harm to the nature goes on in making EV batteries, does govt know nothing about it?
Khali fokat aam logo ko pareshan karna has become hobby of government. In the name of banning old cars how many govt vehicle will be scrapped and how many new vehicles will be bought from tax payer's money?
This is fucked up world we are living in , just within 100 years of automotive history its a shame that IC engines are on the verge of getting obsolete.
Above that the horrible state of roads in spite of paying lakhs of road tax, which literally is punishment for car's suspension, who is responsible for breakdown of our cars?
Cars are not just means of commuting, they are passion, emotion for many of us.
Meat industry contributes equal pollution to nature (there's data to back this), try banning that, can govt do it. It's helpless time we are living in.

This is absolutely wrong jisne bhi ye proposal dala pahle to mai use milna chata hue aur do chata marunga diesel ne uska kay bigada hai bhai itne salo se chalte aa raha hai 100% transportation diesel through hota hai. Major loss hoga India ke GDP pe impact ayega. I completely oppose this proposal always a diesel lover.

Its simple, govt will not put a ban on sale of diesel cars, will not enhance ev infra because it will reduce the tax collection. Yes banning existing diesel engines completely will also not happen. But yes diesel has a bleak future.

The price difference is around 70k more for the diesel variant.

Banning diesel cars is not a solution. Idiots are recommending a ban on existing Diesel cars, such people should be thrown out of the gvt committee .

How do diesel cars pollute more than petrol ?
Diesel requires less refining than petrol , hence less energy required , energy is produced by burning coal, causing more pollution.
Diesel vehicles give better mileage than petrol vehicles, again causing less pollution per km.
It takes a huge amount of energy to mine Lithium and produce only the EV battery, estimates say it takes the same amount of energy to make an EV battery as it does to make an entire ICE car. Why not keep using the existing diesels till they are able to pass the pollution tests, thereby limiting the damage to the environment, since producing millions of new EVs to replace the diesel vehicles will require a huge amount of coal to be burned to produce the new vehicles.
If it is OK to run petrol cars conforming to BS6 norms, then why is it not OK to run diesel vehicles which are also BS6 compliant ?
Tata and Mahindra have made major investments in upgrading their engines to BS6 norms. What happens to them ?
Also, if everyone switches to EVs , a huge amount of coal will be burned just to produce the additional electricity , other wise the entire grid will collapse.
    The whole proposal is faulty.
