Kiryu Coco really changed what it means to be a virtual idol. She generally did what she wanted, much to the chagrin of management. She was vulgar, she was brash, but she was the hardest working member of Hololive at the time. She really is the reason any of us are watching VTubers at all, she is the one that pushed for an English branch of Hololive to be formed. Of note her parting words to future generations of Hololive talents is to keep trying new things, and don’t be afraid to push boundaries, just as she always had.

This song is actually an EXCELLENT representation of what Coco's like: from an outsider's perspective it looks cute and idol-ish, but then you look closer at the lyrics and think "How the hell did she get away with this???". Coco was constantly shifting the line on what idols could get away with, and we love her for it

Ok some context kiryu coco is a name inspired on Kiryu kazuma (the main character of a video game series about the Yakuza) and her lore is that she is a dragon and also a chairman of the Yakuza group, the "plug-in type asacoco" is literally an @$$ plug-in that started as a joke about her dragon tail being fake, it was after made as a plushie and you are still able to buy it online hahaha, the drugs part is a reference to one of her old style of videos were she make an AD about some product and the majority of them was a joke about some drug.

Funny thing, she was pretty bad at singing even just a year ago and was pretty shy every time people ask her to sing. We fans still kept asking her to sing more though and she kept practising and practising and you could actually hear her improving in leaps and bounds.

I can't imagine nobody has mentioned it, but the channel "Nagzz Discovers" has an episode introducing Coco to someone who knows nothing about her.

Still finishing the video, but yes. That is what Weather Hackers is lmao. The song was written for her by a fan, but she adopted it lovingly.

Coco's singing has improved so much in a year and a half. From being embarassed of singing and not liking her singing voice to a full fledged and confident idol on the stage. She is an inspiration. Kiryukai forever!!!

Here, we see Roar doing a deep technical analysis. And then there's Coco - doing a deep asacoco insertions

Some context: Asacoco was her morning show, and it became an inside joke that people got addicted to it like a drug, so coco started talking about ”selling” literal drugs you inject to consume her content or something like that. The most infamous type of asacoco drug is the legendary plug-in type asacoco, which is basically a drugged butt plug or something.

Idol really change our life, they entertain, funny and give courage to us so we can move forward in life. Idol was really something right

The fact that most of those lyrics are memes from her channel just make this song all the more nostalgic while giving that feeling of goodbye my friends that just for some reason make me cry soo damn hard XD.

Coco loves memes so much, of course her original song would be thug themed lyrics on the most wholesome upbeat tune.

Others have already espoused who Kiryu Coco is. The Pekora (the resident war criminal rabbit) Hole is deep and we welcome all who enter.. but know that you're not allowed to leave once you're here. On that note, Coco came in like an inferno. Since day 1, she tore apart the idea of what an idol is/was/could be. Her and Akai Haato (Haachama) are attributed to being responsible for the creation of HoloLive English (HoloMyth) and brought us Calliope Mori and the rest, so.. you can thank our Kaichou for that.

The only thing Kiryuu Coco want on this world is for everyone to have fun. So she will do anything to make fun of everything, from her friends, her fan, her senpai, her CEO or even herself to light up the mood.

I'm going to miss our chaos dragon Kaicho. She lived in the US for a while, specifically Georgia if I remember correctly, so where else are we going to find an idol with a Georgia accent? Also if you want madness and to die laughing checkout
