I’m excited to see the new budget from Kansas City.
KC in the house! Love the Kauffman shirt. Found your channel a month or so ago. Great content and advice. I've shared with my adult children at the beginning of their careers. Best of luck with the move.
Great budget. Can't see what's ahead for you guys. Love this segment of your channel!
I'm so interested to see your sticker shock (the good kind) when you have your first full month in a new home
Exciting!
I've been trying to budget better lately, but with everything going up in Canada, it's tough to stay on track. Worried it's affecting my investments.
Totally been there. It's no joke. Listen, a financial advisor can be a lifesaver in situations like this. They're basically budgeting ninjas who can help you find ways to stretch your dollar further, even with inflation.
For sure. Not having a solid plan can leave your finances vulnerable. An advisor can help you identify areas where you might be overspending and free up cash to invest. They can also help you stay on track with your savings goals.
You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't mind getting an expert help to get my finances back on track.
If you're serious about taking control, I can share the name of a financial advisor I found through Google. He's been amazing at helping me navigate this crazy economic climate. You can send him an email .
Well, i would like to know, i haven't consistently contributed to retirement accounts, leaving them with insufficient funds to maintain their desired lifestyle during retirement
How is your phone & electric and internet so cheap?
What is your 401k balance?
Yay
Putting down more than 5%, especially in a hot market like KC, is silly. You'll live to regret giving up that much liquidity. I know you won't listen but hopefully this makes you think. Take it from someone who bought in 2024 and put down 5% but was going to do a huge down.
I am curious what your reasoning is?
How can you say they'll live to regret it when you also JUST bought your house?? That makes no sense.
@@greenlantern1986 I've been in my home for many months now. My gut told me giving up tens of thousands of dollars in liquidity for an immaterial difference in a mortgage payment would be a bad idea, and it turns out I was correct. Big down payments don't make sense for high income earners like the creators in this video. It's the same thing as a 25 year old prepaying thei rmortgage. There are just flat out better ways to use you money.
