Nope! I still talk to Wes every now and then, heâs doing very well (other than the fact he was a bit ill these last few days). Heâs just taking some time off CZcams, he might come back he might not, thatâs up to him.
Aeronautica is the simulator you play if you can handle a grind. PTFS is the simulator if you want a chill experience. Well done to all mentioned!

I handled the grind all right, and sometimes, I even hop back on to grind for more planes. Can't do it on any other game.
Its no contest, I want to enjoy the wonder of flying, not engage in repetitive labor for hours IN A VIDEOGAME. CMON THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ESCAPE FROM REAL LIFE XD
In all seriousness, grinding is a hard thing to make fun, and gets a bad rap thanks to simulators, but I dont think I want a flight simulator to be a grinding game.

Aeronautica was well deserved, I personally found it in it's extremely early stages, before the Avalon continent update is how I have to put it, but I saw big potential and it has been an absolute joy to see such a small team flourish into over 20 odd people and grow into a massive community of over 15 thousand people which is massive!, and for that I applaud them, they turned a web browser into a piece of aviation art, and to be honest, they didn't remake wingz world, they reimagined it.
I was am still am very proud to be 8 out of those 20. Regularly seeing hyper ant join the game was funny, and before the server list

@@anasadio3040 for me aero is kinda to grindy but also isnt pay to win and the content is equal to neo so its top 1 the pay to win is for wings of glory which is more hellish after 8.9 and the grind to but then gin just buy to many medals so u can skip the grind and get every thing and the devs re nerfing every ok and non brain dead ( mig 9 players)
Having started playing Wingz World back in 2013 or so, it has always been a dream of mine to see this kind of game be popular, but never really expected it. Now as a part of the Aeronautica team I'm absolutely baffled by how much the game has evolved, now being a match for the leading Roblox flight sims.
Massive salute to Patron for this awesome result, and even featuring one of my planes, the B-17 :) And also a big thank you to the development team for having allowed me on board this project.
PS: I'd like to mention one of the most recent updates which introduced custom liveries, already available for over 70 aircraft. It allows players to create any real or fictional livery, rather than being bound to the generic pre-made 3-color liveries. In my opinion it's one of the most significant updates so far.
Incredible work with Aeronautica, itâs an incredible game with an incredible team behind it, really been amazing seeing it progress to where it is today

Interesting reasoning lol, I feel like taxi lines are a relatively small issue in the grand scheme of things, Iâd much rather have Aeronauticaâs dynamic weather, ALS and ATC features than taxi lines at the end of the day.

I must say, it was quite surprising to see Neo Warefare X at 5! But with this being flight SIMULATOR review (and with neo being a combat sim) Aeronautica definitely deserves first place.
Neo is super awesome, but not a great solo experience and you really need to play it with friends who know how to play in order to get the full experience. Itâs also a spaghetti code and an absolute mess of UIs and ideas. Really needs a cleanup and a menu update.
Neo warfare X is amazing and fun to play, especially the carrier scripts :)
@@PatronRBLX Hopefully that new âCombined Armsâ game they just announced fixes Neos Issues. I feel like (if pulled off correctly, which considering the weight of the devs behind it, is likely) it could easily overtake most of the games on this list simply by offering satisfying, accurate ish combat gameplay that doesnât turn your computer into Chernobyl. Itâll turn it into three mile island instead.

Such as the CV âBack-and-forthâ unless you have attachable catapults (I mostly use WW2 era things, which explains my hatred)
Also models, some of them are high quality (Ticonderoga, Cleveland, Fletcher, North Carolina, MontanaâŠ) while most of them are awful (Yorktown, Shokaku, Kaga, Des Moines, Worcester, Taiho, even maybe the Essex, and all the Soviet Destroyers)

As a true lover of Wings of Glory I gotta be slightly sad itâs so low but itâs understandable, If anybody hasnât checked ed it out you really should. The dogfights are incredible, especially in high tier with supersonic fighter jets and Fox 2 missiles

Bootleg war thunder
I have personally dedicated so much of my life with AFS, (acceleration) and VFS, their former velocity flight sim. It really saddens me to see what happened to those wonderful games, after grinding so much with so much high anticipation, I was brutally let down with what the developers had in mind for the game, and how they basically all went on to do different things with their lives that wasn't AFS or VFS. VFS was such an awesome nostalgic FS, but now you cannot even play it without the game freezing on the loading screen, really annoying and a shame.
Aeronautica is really awesome, i clearly remember playing it back in 2021 while in a zoom meeting đ€Ł

Besides PTFS being one of my only favorite flight sim, I personally like Flightline due to its features and the outstanding graphics of the game. fligthline is cool but as me a fan of ptfs flightline has so much controls and a little more harder to understand everything but its cool and realistic
and ptfs dont have the titles on the passenger windows so in that things flightline wins
@@Luhshowflightline is a more hardcore game that is trying to be a pure flight sim while ptfs is simply a fun simplified game
I was really hoping for aeronautica to be first from the start. I was glad to see ptfs as second and then just hear that iconic aeronautica music. So deserved. Great list bro
I feel like if project flight was rated today, it would definitely get top 2 as it has just had a massive update
Even after playing it I personally feel it wouldn't beat ptfs, to me it just feels janky and honestly quite annoying but that's just my opinion.

Project flight to me just looks like itâs funding itâs intense development.
It's not p2w. The amount of time, that the developers put into the game is just stunning... Every update that comes out is high detailed and well checked before. I think that the devs just want a small payout for their really good work. I'm pretty sure that if they continue to work as hard as they do it now, they will easily pass any other plane game on roblox, by the end of the year.

Great Video! I'm extremely exicted that aeronautica got first place ive been playing that game for a while it is has well deserved first.
Wings Of Glory imo is one of the most fun and entertaining games ive played. Over 60 aircraft keeps you always wanting to unlock and fly new planes, while the grind is still fun and not punishing. The kills are satisfying, the community is friendly and loyal. There is so much I could talk about!

@@beetledesert8642 I think PTFS is more of a copy than Aero. Aero is an economy game where you have to unlock licenses to get better planes.
I do honestly agree with your rating system. Although aero is a pain to grind, it does have many features other aviation games have + even more variation the planes one could choose. There's also a whole bunch of player made liveries that now make the game even more immersive in my opinion.
For ptfs i'd say it is indeed a great game but at times can feel a bit stale.. it's kinda there but doesn't give you much of a goal to work towards and although the map is great and the plane models too, the choice is still a bit limited in my opinion

PTFS's biggest limiting factors are scale and the fact there is only one person working on it
I am a brain ded avgeeks that has grinded in Aeronautica for months, I played since like maybe September or june 2022 and now i have grinded my self a lot of aircraft! Tips if you know how to make liveries: Do livery commision, I got payed about 2.8 MILLION WP just for making 5 liveries so yeah, Fun game!
PTFS is cool but aeronautica takes the cake for me. The game is a pain to play but then the game would be boring as crap without WP and Money. Aeronautica is becoming better and better every year, and I love it. They are making the map ginormous where it will probably take 2 hours to cross and they expand the old areas too or rebuild them. Recently, Ăsir was released, and more like Arabia or Afrika are getting added soon. It also has advanced liveries so you can make ANY livery you want! Although, you have to learn how to make them. Sadly, gear tilt, flaps, spoilers and animation wont *maybe* get added but it is not confirmed. If you get bored in the game look for crates. Also the song used for aeronautica here was the loading screen VFX, Also there are many other things like some airports are based off real life airports. I like that idea more cause they are airports I know but most of the community wants fictional airports and I super disagree. Long comment ends here.
Honestly this video is motivating me to get back to roblox flight sims, especially aeronautica, since itâs never really properly grinded in that game and Iâd really love to have one of the airliners
It does take a while to get up to your first airliner, but once you have one the game moves a lot faster. Hope you have fun with it!
So happy aeronautical is in top position, it was my fav flight sim last year, and it still is my favourite flight simulator
great rankings, I agree with most of them, though I think you could of added aircraft carrier onto the list, their missile system is incredible, plus they have some great handling on the aircrafts
It did come very close to be fair!
The reason why Flightline takes ages to update is because mostly if I'm correct there is only one developer in the game and because he focuses on adding new planes and more gameplay features, alot goes into these updates hence the time. Tho currently things that are coming soon are the A320, E190, Cockpit for the Saab, map expansion including a new far away airport. And that's pretty much all ik now. Tho good video.
Itâs the same situation I talked about with PTFS, having only one developer means that the game just canât keep up with the amount of updates that other games get. Games like Aeronautica have massive teams of devs and therefore get huge amounts of content faster.
@@PatronRBLX I agree. PTFS, Flightline or any game entering any competition must have a decently good team because while updates may take ages to come, games don't take days to die.
@@PatronRBLX And keep in mind he's developing much, MUCH higher fidelity aircraft than PTFS and Aero. His aircraft have working instruments. The others don't.
@@FurryMLG true, and a lot of players will love that, but the sad truth about Roblox flight simulators is that realism isnât what most players are looking for, it is Roblox after all and so most players tend to be a little younger and just looking for something fun, easy and satisfying. What some people like others donât, thatâs what makes all of the games so hard to rank.

flightline is an amazing and large part of my roblox flight sim journey and a kickstarter to my entire flight sim journey, my first butter landing was in it.

PTFS feels missing so I like how someone finally acknowledges that PTFS seems to be missing what it needs to feel good.
Aeronatica I only played once for some reason and didn't think much of but it was a good game.
Me as a loving aviation community, its crazy how those games was from blocky games to something that is very cool, that means how roaviation is one of the best communities on roblox.

Totally agree with this video. Especially aeronautica, I play that game for ages in a row. I saw the wingz world game and played it, and i can see that the two games are fairly similar, Clarence and harden are included. Truly the best flight game on Roblox.
Well deserved to aeronautica, what a game, have been playing it since the beginning and seeing it evolve is just amazing, the aircraft are well detailed, and the slightly arcade style flying experience as well as the wide range of aircraft puts this simulator at the top, Well deserved.
Emergency Landing is not a pay to win game in the slightest.
I understand how having gamepasses to skip grinding is annoying but you can get everything in the game for free with the currency you earn for surviving. Once you get everything there is nothing left to progress, it is understandable to make skipping the grind a gamepass - the developer needs to get paid too.
Whilst I agree to an extent, the amount of grinding that has to be done is wayyy too extreme, after spending hours on the game I was only able to unlock one of the basic perks.
@@PatronRBLX It took me only a few hours of gameplay with zero gamepasses to get the airline captain perk - it took me 300 survivals before the Eaglet update (which made it so much easier to get Eaglets) and just barely 100 survivals to get the airline captain perk after the Eaglet update. I would agree with you if it was prior to the Eaglet update but after that update it became incredibly easier to grind Eaglets. If you keep dying then of course you will find the grind tiresome.
The problem with making the grind too easy is that you lose the retention of players, the developer took the feedback of the grind being annoying and made it way more attainable to get but for some reason people are still saying it is too hard (despite it not being hard at all now). I am beginning to think it is a skill issue...
Fair enough, but on the other hand thatâs enough to turn a lot of people away myself included.

Iâd give aeronautics best map and flight sim and give ptfs best plane models

Aeronautica and PTFS both use CSG models whilst Project Flight and Flightline use mesh models. Mesh is what most real games use for their models but itâs completely personal opinion what people prefer. CSG definitely fits Robloxâs âaestheticâ better, but I prefer the more realistic look that Mesh models give in this context.
@@PatronRBLX If we're talking about how the plane feels, then I guess PTFS would've been over Aeronautica based on that criteria (added on to everything said on the video), because Aeronautica seems more like a grind game than a flight sim on itself, since the physics are questionable at best, even for Roblox standards. Altough I've said it, one little quirk that I dont see people talking about is one of the reasons I love Aeronautica: aircraft performance. Aeronautica has one of the most realistic acceleration/braking aircraft performance ive ever seen. When you takeoff in an A350 for example, you feel that you are getting that beast into the air by how much runway it takes and how the speed slowly goes to VR, and the braking is the same thing

Genuinely in my opinion ptfs is the the best role player game because of the multiple roles ,atc, military convoys it is really good for rps in that reason
i used to play aeronautica a while ago back in 2021 but then stopped playing because i had gotten supersonics and many rare vehicles, but then i made the difficult choice to reset my data in the game and now ive been playing ever since
Im so happy that ptfs or flightline is one time not on 1st place. Aeronautica really desrrved 1st place this time, its just that amazing for roblox flight sim standards and generally the features are endless kinda

What started as a nostalgic Wingz World remake. Has now out ranked even Flightline.
Sure, it's not in the same category as Project Flight & PTFS. But with what it's based on.
I think Aeronautica deserves the top spot.
I mean look at Neo-Warfare X. If you think Aeronautica isn't for everyone, that flight sim makes them run away in fear!

I completely agree with aeronautical being number 1, at first I didn't love it because it took hours and hours to do only a few missions but I came to love it and now it's one of my favorite games on roblox

I'm surprised you don't mention about the aeronautica update frequency like it gets pretty decent updates every 3 or so days. Areo is defo my fav plane game and I'm happy to be a part of the community.

Not gonna lie im glad i found aeronautica like 2 months after it was made, ive been playing before the avalon revamp and seen the map and game develop and grow, i dont play the game as much as i used to cuz i have everything i want in the game but i do join the game and mess around every now and then

aero is my favourite game(behind twisted) and is absolutely stunning, sadly though they do not have tu-160..
I love PTFS, it was the first Roblox Flight Simulator I played, and on my first flight I flew a Cessna-172 upside down! Lol
Acceleration is pretty good game if you wanna feel the speed and do cool stunts you can never do in real life or any flight simulator that have extreme realism on it
the only roblox flight simulator that i could think of other than ptfs was aeronautica because like its the only think that could possibly beat ptfs in terms of flight sim. great video also another is that i always come back to this channel to find new flight sim on roblox so tysm :D

You shouls try the updated version of wings of glory with 3rd gen fighters like the F-4J or Mig 21 with the incresible accurate missiles and flares. If you grind and get the new jets the game is very fun to play

As a person whos played for over 150 hours and has donated to the game, i am extremely happy that aeronautica is number 1, as i also think it is the best flight simulator in Roblox (and one of the better flight sims just in general for its ability to be played completely for free). I highly recommend playing aeronautica if you haven't already. Amazing game 10/10.

i have a serious problem with neo warfareX,its controls.ive searched,and searched,and havent found a place too set my own keybinds.thats why i dont play it :|

@@PatronRBLXpersonally, I would have put wings of glory in the top 5, especially with the most recent update including tons of new missiles
Neo Warfare X is still in beta so hopefully the make big changes to the game but overall it's one of the best flight sims on Roblox
