If anyone on Steam is having this problem, the fix is getting rid of any reticle settings you had in the launch options👍
Edit: So some of the comments are saying it works on Origin too, so if you're on Origin and Apex isn't working, give it a try, couldn't hurt💙

Tried everything in this video and also setting the reticle colors to nothing. That worked the first time but after the lsat time I got the same crash error again but the reticle color solution doesn't work anymore... Any ideas?
Same boat here, i never even had a custom reticle so that didnt work for me at all

I did almost everything that was in the video, and everyone is saying to remove the reticle launch thing but when I go to it, I don’t have the reticle command thing. When I launch apex it shows the easy anti thing but it crashes half way. Anything I can do?

what worked for me is everything in launch options should be cleared

i found the fix and its very very eazty just remove any reticle setting you have i did it on origin and now its working and it should also work on steam.,try it and let me know

none of this helped me out, its everytime the news page pops up, the textures become distored and crashes my game, before that pops up im able to go to shop, settings and everything else. Is it a texture thing or something???
Exacly same, i start the game get into the lobby and now i have like 2 seconds to enter anything but the play tab, i can change settings, switch legends but when i go back it crashes, i have never applied a costom reticle and the +fps_max 120 didnt work

@@z.4520 it’s fixed for me. It was the news feed that made my game crash. Once it changes you’ll be able to play again Im pretty sure
