Yeah I always love the differences in vibe when someone covers a song. On the same note when after the bit where she says "die" the cover isn't as heavy with the noise and bass then the original so you get the vibe that our Odysseus stand-in was separated from their crew rather than made to watch them die.
I was just thinking that. Annas is more divine annoyance, she's completely in control and is just righting a wrong that was done to her which gives her a more ethereal 'I'm above you' feeling. Stephens differs in that in his you get the feeling Poseidon is *enjoying himself*, he's getting catharsis from fucking with the mortals who dared to slight him in this way. The're both good takes on the same song honestly.

Absolutely loved this cover! Your Poseidon sounds somehow both coldly furious and utterly in control and a little fed up/bored all at once, like revenge is necessary and wanted but also dealing with Odysseus is beneath Poseidon entirely. The art is also incredibly stunning! Well done all around.
