STANDING ABS WORKOUT for Beginners to Reduce Belly Fat and Build Stronger Abs

- This short 10-minute standing abs workout is all about focusing on flexing the abs to build stronger abs and core. Combine this ab workout with a cardio workout to reduce belly fat for a flatter stomach and stronger abs. We'll go at a slower pace today to ensure time is spent truly flexing and working the abs. This is a great workout for beginners who prefer to work the abs from a standing position. We'll do 20 seconds of work, followed by 10 seconds of rest.

I really love these short workouts. I've been working out for over 40 years and let's face it, as much as I love aerobics, after that long you know every aerobic move ever created so a long 45 min. or hour workout gets really boring. I like to do 3 to 5 10 minute workouts a day of different types to keep it fun, this will be added to my favorites. :) More 'quickies' please
I agree ....I love doing a good cardio steps one then add strength at end, but would love when our leader❤ has time to do sometjjng like 10 minute upper only then 10 mins lower if that makes sense. In saying that u do have a great 7 mins arm one. I like add on ones but v v happy with everything u give us❤❤❤

Oh wow, your comment about being hopeful is incredibly meaningful to me. Anyone can get stronger, and by working out daily you will definitely see changes in your fitness and strength. If you can, I'd highly recommend starting some strength training if you haven't already. I have 6 levels of workout calendars on my website if you're interested. By doing strength and cardio, you'll see quickly results.

I have always avoided ab workouts as I hate them. It's the area I need to work on more but find endless sit ups etc boring. This was fabulous. Really worked up a sweat. When I started your workouts I used to cringe every time you lifted your arms as I knew an ab move was coming they filled me with fear and dread....slight exaggeration but you know what I mean. With this workout I put on my big girl pants and just went with it. Fab! Thanks Jules. (Now I can go out for lunch and not feel guilty.)

Thankyou so much for your channel. I need to get my fitness back but can’t really afford classes but also don’t like how often you are pushed or expected to be at a certain level. Yours are great and fun and as they are shorter in length I’m more likely to stick to them. So I’m going to do this and a yoga each morning, then an abs and dance in the evening I think 🤩. I’m off on holiday at the end of June let’s see the results then 🤩❤️

OK...back from a 3-day getaway to see a group of friends who gather just twice every year. Soooo good to catch up with all of them...soooo tasty eating lots of forbidden fruits! I got back into my routine today, got in my 2-mile walkabout this morning, then this afternoon did the "15-minute mile" workout, and then I tacked on this one! I'd love 5-minute targeted videos...long enough to work out abs, glutes, legs, but short enough to tack onto the 20- and 25-minute full workouts!

OMG, Jules! Just finished 30 mins. on treadmill on very warm & humid Texas day. Decided to add this on to my workout. I am now streaming sweat! 😅

These workouts are doing wonders for my stiffness! At times, this one got a little too intense with the boxing type jabs. I'm embarrassed to say that I had to take a break. But after a short rest I continued on. I am looking forward to seeing results. Thank you for what you do!❤

Blew it oooot the water with this... I read beginner and thought ouch will try omg harx. I used a 4kg wejght and arms got a work out too. If im able im going try it every other day lol... I needed a good abs one. A similar arms then legs wifh weight this length be ideal when u have time. This is fantastic. Thank u so much❤
Thanks Allyson! You can definitely increase the weight for the side bends for the obliques. Since we bring the weight over the head for some of the moves, a heavier weight isn't necessary and might take away from focusing on the abs. Your 10 minute request of other workouts has been jotted down:)

Is this safe for people with herniated disc - l4 and l5?
I'm not a specialist so it's definitely wise to check with your specialist on what type of exercises to avoid.
Jules, loved this workout. Included in my daily program, I haven’t being able of reducing my abs área neither my waist circumference even though I don't have overweight problems. Please continue with shorts like this one. So thankful to you, I have told this several times, I began to exercise just 8 moth ago since during my school time I could not do any exercise and when I was an adult it was not easy to get into the habit. Now at my 60’years old I could thanks to you. 🫶🏻❤️🫶🏻
