Mitchell Starc's ball was completely unpredictable, the angle and the seem with God level pace he created was more than awesome.
tbh that hit a crack, everyone knows this,Ryan Harris's one was much better
The best way to get a lot of likes is by using a lot English
@@sunset1394 nope... You are wrong
@@sunset1394 Harris's hit crack as well
@@sports3308 it did not. It skidded and then swung away
The number of times Cook has featured here just shows how pricey his wicket was and it always took a special delivery to get him out. Just awesome!
or maybe he just made those deliveries look better than they were in his poor form
Yeah he was particularly unlucky... so many unplayable deliveries
There were 3 there from Lyon, Johnson and Harris he got in the same series. All 3 of them were utter belters. I suspect all 3 of them would have cleaned up Bradman. Can't get too down on him for that.
@@shivamtiwari384 I don’t think these deliveries were from a time where he was in a bad shape, maybe just a rough patch but that can’t take away the class out of a guy like cook, so in either case they had to produce something good to get him out
@@rick_fortune and it’s not limited to just ashes coz I remember the famous series where England beat India 2-1 in India, Cook was the anchor for them on most occasions and spinners did the rest
Ryan Harris actually Broke the Bail with that Delivery. What a Peach!
Similarly Jimmy broke the bail when he bowled smudge in first innings at the SCG test.
Harris was one of my fav
Moral of the story :
It takes a magical delivery to dismiss Cook.
I really appreciate this comment 🙌🙌🙌
It's not a story mate😀
No this is not that he survived for long an all these three deliveries . In all deliveries he removed at very low score. So it seems that Aussies have saved such delivery.
Nah, he also got out to some ordinary deliveries on his last 2 tours to Australia.
have you ever seen cook bat and get out? your comment shows that you did not.
Mitchell Johnson to Cook was the scariest ball of ashes
The toughest baller ever to face ..really scary
Absolutely scary
With those old school moustaches , he was looking even more scary to face 🥶🥶🥶
2:52 Ashes (2013 -14) , Mitchell Johnson was breathing 🔥 at that time probably one of the best Ashes performance of all time.
35 wickets in a series it takes a lot of heart to ball at these Aussie pitches for fast bowlers. Truly was in his form of his life.
@@vivekmahindra9243 37 wickets* bro
@@thelostdude2808 Don't go on my words dude just look at the emotions 😭😭 I thought you will appreciate me but you're Just trying to disrespect me for those 2 wickets that I missed very bad bro ☹️☹️
And then he lost the IPL to Piyush Chawla! 😂
@@TheAudioman15 I think I was talking about "The Ashes" only 🤔🤔
I'd say Ryan Harris' ball is the best after shane warne ball of the century!.. at first you don't notice but firstly the ball didn't hit any crack. and secondly, the ball first shaped to came in and then suddenly in midair seamed out. Perfect delivery which was absolutely unplayable!!
Bro but it's in the crack he's done nothing special to that
@@dileepreddysoma4353 you're on crack
Cool bro, i didn't tell any arrogant word nd you are replying it in a bad manner. But Nathan Lyon in an interview told that nd it's absolutely on the crack.
And you don't know how to reply and speak to people properly and you are judging a delivery. Pity of you
@@dileepreddysoma4353 nope.. Watch closely, it missed the crack. Landed just right to the crack and then took off. Even the commentators said it missed the crack.
Warne's ball of the century, Starc to Vince at Perth and Ryan Harris to Cook (top of off) are the 3 best deliveries not just in ashes but of all time in my perspective.
I hope you don't mean that they're the 3 best deliveries ever... because you just ignored the 100+ years of cricket that happened before 1990.
HKM so can you tell which ball was better in those 100 years?
Starc to vince was more of luck.. Hit crack but other two were great deliveries
@@nomanshaikh3800 I can't tell many as I wasn't alive for most of that time. But then, I will be comfortable with calling the above balls as the best of their era rather than the best ever, because I'm sure guys like lillee, bedi, etc. have bowled balls just as good.
@@BinaryRex18 yes sir you're right totally agreed with you. It's just 3 of my favourite balls cause everyone have there own list of favourites. I hope you don't mind, it was a nice conversation with you sir 😊😊
2:16 smithy still caught it...
He never misses 😂
That Ben Hilfenhaus screamer is clearly under appreciated here. Some of these deliveries were players playing down the wrong line, but that brute of a delivery to Strauss...everything indicated the ball would come back into him...the movement in the air, the position of the seam, the release, everything. But it pitched and ripped away ever so slightly to go past the bat of a set Strauss! The most unplayable delivery in this list imo. Ryan Harris' is a very close 2nd.
My thoughts exactly. Hilfies was the perfect delivery moving back JUST far enough to rub the stump. One less coat of varnish on the stump and there'd be no contact.
If Richie says it's unplayable, it's unplayable... 😀
Mitchell Starc's delivery was exceptional, one of the best in decades for me..
The bowling, the atmosphere and then the commentary. Pure gold of Australian cricket.♥️
Starc to Burns can be a honourable mention. What a ball to begin the Ashes
Lets be honest it was kind of terrible. Any competent batter would have leg glanced that for 4.
Starc to Bairstow in 2017-18 ashes. that dismissal was similar to the James vince dismissal
@@arrgghh1555 ok Shane ... You can only bowl to what's Infront of you in that case only wickets from the first 5 batsman should count to career wicket titles
And all wickets from d tier nations shouldn't count like murali and India have feasted on to improve their numbers
that ball was ok.. but burns played it awfully... but still it deserves the mention since it's a first ball of the first ashes test
" look at him, the little bald head " Bill Lawry is a legend hahahahahahaha
2:15 what a catch from smith
great observation
OMG! What a fabulous deveivry from Mitchell Johnson....I'm your all time fan in Aussies man...💯💥👌🔥
Ryan Harris would have competed with McGrath in Aussie cricket history had his career lasted long ...He was a gem of a bowler with a very smooth action
He was like an upgraded version of Merv Hughes. That big, strong, hardworking, untiring fast bowler. But with an air of class and polish to him. Kind of like Mohammad Shami.
@@marktaylor6491 Yeah Mohammed Shami is classy, it's unfortunate that he's 33 and not 23, we won't see him for too much longer.
Even before I watched the No.1, I knew it must be Ryan Harris. That's etched in the mind and memory. A ball for the ages.
Starcs 1st delivery in 2021 ashes 🔥🔥🔥
Just goes to show how tough a job openers have in test cricket. You have got to admire Cook's stats in test cricket keeping in mind he faced a barrage of unplayable deliveries !
No doubt. He was one of the best to strap on a pad. And it's hard for me as an Aussie to say that of a Pommie. :)
@@rick_fortune one of the nicest blokes too off the field
I think he was the closest guy we've had who had an actual chance of getting close to Tendulkar's test records but poor form in the later phase of his career & him retiring somewhat early ruined those chances.
The cameraman who shot the Ryan Harris ball needs a award. Best cinematography in a documentary.
2:50 All these years later I still have no idea how that stump hardly moved. 150km/h and held its ground
Well done, stump.
05:38
Mitchell Starc ball to James Vince 🥰
1:48 I cry when I see Phil 😣😣 btw great deliveries
Same😭
One thing is clear...it takes some special ball to dismiss Alaister cook( 3 dismissal in this clip alone).... shows what kind of a batsman he is in red ball cricket..Respect
Knocks him over, with pace... Real pace...right through the England Captain 🔥
Mitchell Johnson and Ryan Harris was an amazing bowling partnership
Starc did it
Best delivery I've seen ever
Starc is my inspiration ❤️❤️❤️
Love these videos keep it up!
That Ryan Harris ball to Cook was a lefty's nightmare...one of the top few deliveries of the last 20 years.
Always so unfair when guys don't get a full career due to injury. We wanted to see a lot more from him.
To get sir Alastair cook out you need that type of deliveries that's how good he was.
Pace real pacee🔥🔥🔥...commentary ❤️
What a delivery by Ryan Harris. Great moment.
Cook faced most of the deliveries
Great Video and great to listen the great voices of Bill Lawry , Boycott and Ian Chapple after so long....
"and a breakthrough finally for Australia" - not a common phrase.
Will never get tired of seeing that Harris delivery to Cook. The perfect delivery to a left hander.
Narrow outswing from the first two deliveries puzzled the batsmen.Just amazing
Who ever runs this channel just know that I appreciate the constant uploads of my favorite cricket team
Agressive and mighty Aussies... from that old days to present they are same... just on fire 🔥.... very lovely video... nice to watch... I remember that old golden period of Steve Waugh,, Rickey Ponting,, Michael Clarke...and that period is still golden now... what an extraordinary bowlers were then... Shane Warne,, Glean McGrath,, Brett Lee one after another...all were nightmare for all batsman...and Australia continues it same way....today Cummins,, Starc,, Boland,, Lyon,, Green all are nightmare for all...not only bowlers batsman also has same quality... batting,, bowling all fields are bomb blasting... for that reason Australia were World champion,, are and will be... love you so much Australia.
awesome compilation, even loved the Pommie inclusions
I still like the one Mitch Johnson gets Cook with as well. That was an absolute jaffa. And nice pill there by Tuffers, gotta give the Pommies some credit. :)
2:52 knocked him over ! Pace, real pace ! Right through the england captain. 🔥
Many commenting on Cook’s prominence in this package, and rightly so, he was superb over a very long time so to prize his wicket took some doing. My appreciation goes to this collection showcasing how good some balls simply needed to be!
Oh poor alaister cook got out 3 times by absolute beauties
Because thats what you have to do to get him out
Amazed to see no McGrath in this top 10
Or even a Brett Lee thunderbolt
He just took wickets, too many of them.
Well done tuffers for making the list!
We want more of these type of videos 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Demian flaming has a good outswinger and good inswinger. Great bowling action but underrated bowler
surprised that no delivery bowled by Glenn McGrath is included in the top 10
That's what fascinates me, he bowls normal deliveries most perfectly
He bowled the best overs in Ashes not just single balls
line and length doesnt need something special :) literally was the best at it.
Mitchell starc 👑 ⚡⚡💪 love from India🇮🇳
I forgot that one from Hilfenhaus, it was a beauty as well. :) And nice to see the Bowlologist get in the list. :)
Good old Tuffers. We love him in Australia.
That Starc delivery is one of the best fast deliveries I’ve ever seen!
I genuinely don’t think you could engineer a better ball in a lab than the one Harris bowled to get Cook out. Everytime I see it , I’m stunned by how perfect it is, especially since it missed the crack
Mitchell Johnson 🔥🔥🔥
Nothing beats that ball by Rayn
Old is gold what a delivery
geez, this video had absolute peaches on it. That left hand offspin one, jesus christ how he did that was amazing.
I was in 12 th class in high school back in 2013-14 and watched the ashes series. I never saw that kind of pace bowling. The english squad was scared of Johnson.
ryan harris one was really special
Fleming getting some love. Nice to see
Saw Flem's second one in this video in person at the MCG, he had the ball on a remote control that day
1:34 what a ball. can't believe im seeing that for the first time. Probably my favorite one here. The swing
Shane Warne Was A Legend
And he will always be one
@@niranjannair3633 yes
Is a legend
Thanks for informing
Harris's delivery was really special. It started swinging midair, but didnt swing that much to miss the stumps completely. Just smooth.
Mitch starc bowled James vince one of the best delivery ,🥰
For me the best ever ashes was 2005...
Specially I remember Harmison slow bowl on the 4rth day last bowl and clipping the wicket of Michael Clarke.. And it made way for Ashes win for England in the Edgbaston test...
After 2001 Ind Aus series this is the 2nd best series of all time..
That was definitely an amazing Ashes series. Lots of beautiful deliveries in that series, especially from Warne but my favorite was the one from Simon Jones to Michael Clarke. Just completely made a fool out of Clarke with that delivery.
How Good was Ryan Harris..Phew!! ❤️
Nice 🔥
Ryan harris and starc delivery . AWESOME
Top notch deliveries
Solid bold out.
I love Australian commentary
This is a fantastic collection.
Ryan Harris, what a great bowler.
Great 👍
Surprised no G McGrath despite such long illustrious career ! But that Ryan Harris delivery owned everyone else's. Tufnell was a distant second for me 💎
What a ball from Tuffers!!!
I was sure most of them will be bowled. A ball hitting the stump while complete silence in the background, most soothing moment for sure!!!!!!
Everytime i watch that Johnson’s delivery to Cook.
How in the world that stump still standing there against Peak Johnson’s pace.🤯🤯🤯
Stark has a case for a second spot in the top 10 now. Was Phil Tufnell's ball to Boon close to Warnie's Gatting ball?
'Best Ashes deliveries *in Australia* '
@@ray.shoesmith yeah, I was just saying. We rave about the Gatting ball. But nobody mentions that delivery from Tuffers. Almost as good throughout history.
@@adriang6259 Great ball but not even close to "Almost as good". The Gatting Ball is bowled Right Arm Over to a Right Handed Bat. It starts on middle, drifts to a foot outside leg, dips at the last moment, then rips into the top of off stump. The revs to make the ball do that are mind-blowing, and the control for a wrist spinner makes it even better.
@@Darkfite yeah, fair enough.
Adil Rashid bowling KL Rahul in the 2018 test series between England and India is one of the best deliveries I've ever seen. As good as the Warne ball to Gatting.
1:42 great delivery by Hugh Jackman❤
That ball to cook from jhonson was insane
Good to see Tuffers get a cameo. 🤣👍
Mitchell Strac's one was exceptional!
Would have loved to had seen warneys. Ball and starkys first ball leg side ripper but I know it’s how everyone views are different. Still great to see 👍
That one Harris bowled to Cook was a peach. Imo, no fast bowler has ever bowled a ball as good as that. Ever
"Look at him! Look at the bald head!" lol
I miss Ponting-McGrath-Warne time. They were too good to be true
I think that Mitchel Starc first ball on the ashes should be included because of that in swinging yorker and the swing that he produced on the ball
i agree but this shows deliveries from 1999 - 2020 not 2021
Look at the catch from Smith! When Gazza bowled him.
Mitchell Starc’s delivery 🔥🔥🔥
All great dilivery's against the cook
The one to Alastair Cook from Ryno was an absolute pearler. Next favorite of mine would be Starc to Vince.
I love you guys chance ❤️👍❤️
Starc's delivery to Vince was rippah, though Ryno's ball was best of them all
Starc's that delivery 💥🔥🔥
2:38 good reflection catch by Smith
Harris to Cook…..WOW. Best of the lot!!!
