Is Water Fasting the Cure all? My 2nd Fast this year...

  • Healing a deep chronic illness for some people takes a lot more work than just going raw and doing a simple juice cleanse for a few weeks. Water fasting is the oldest form of healing that has been lost for several generations. I am on a mission to return my body back to the way it was suppose to be and share my experience and healing journey. This is a video of my second long water fast in the last 10 months.

    Almost 6 months ago I did a 17 day water only fast for my Crohn's. Plain water only, not even smart water. I didn't even take allergy medicine.
    1) Crohn's makes me tired and after the fast the fatigue went away and never came back. Problem solved.
    2) Crohn's reduces the firmness of my stool. That also went away. My stool is normal. Problem solved.
    3) Crohn's makes my stomach bloat after some meals. That went away for a couple of months but then slowly came back. Improved but not solved.
    4) Crohn's causes joint pain. Not much improvement for this symptom. Problem about the same but it's not a huge problem.
    Overall fasting measurably improved many symptoms even over the long term. Not all symptoms responded. It may take several sessions to completely beat Crohn's.
    For short term fasts if I don't eat for 24 hours (and especially 72 hours) all symptoms temporarily go away and some are reduced for a long time after.

    Majorly looking forward to the update a few months from now.
    It occurs to me one reason you're at the weight you are is you're very active and busy, sort of like Loren himself; the more active the more digestive burden so if that's the issue you might consider taking it easy on some days.

    • @jeffjuices
      @jeffjuices  Před 2 lety +6

      Thanks for the comment. I will def be making more videos the next weeks and months and will do another update on my health specifically. I am not thin because of my level of activity. By any means def not. I'm thin, because I had one of the worst levels of crohns disease possible, and I had and still have a toxic body filled with a lifetime of filth buildup. There are countless the vegans out there who are super strong and muscular and are highly active. Loren is not very active actually. He sits behind a desk most of the day, and he actually looks very strong when he takes his shirt off. Raw food and activity does not equal skinny. Compared to most American raw foodist will be thin for sure, but overall compared to most people thought out history heslthy Raw vegans look like the perfect human body should. 🙂

      @@jeffjuices I agree with all you're saying, but all things being equal you'll still gain more weight if you have less energy expenditure. It's a matter of finding the right amount that is needed for health but isn't making a lot of extra demands on the body.

    Thank u for your honesty and telling us about your experiences. I wish you all the best in your new endeavors. One question though, before your first water fast with Loren, and you were doing the juice feasts, did u release any old hard mucoid plaque with that? Or was it only with a long water fast? I want to go to Tanglewood but can't leave my pet right now. She's old like me, and I wouldn't want her to think I abandoned her, if something should happen, I'd be crushed.

    Man , i dont know about this . There is something very odd and obssesing with those cleanses and wanting to be pure . Ones a was there obssesd i thought i need to fast and eat those fruits and still felt like i have something to cleanse like a visious circle that mever ends. And then one day i started to crave real food , animal fat something more nutrient dense like my body screamed to me it needed nutrients or i will fade away. Thank GOD i losten to my body and ate steak and drank some bone broth. My skin after 1 year of fasting and fruits was in such a bad contidion, no collagen left , grey , i was so skinny damm so sad to look at me but i was done with suffering. Now 8 months later i have never felt better in my life . I eat a lot of fatty meats and my skin is amazing i look so healthy . I forgot about my health problems and bloated belly and honestly i realized that those "detox" symptoms that i was feeling all the time was my body screaming for nutrients .And something to consider ig you want to do water fast with Loren. I have heard that people have died over there

    I don’t know if it is true that if you have fat reserves and you do a water fast of 21 days if you detox any less than a skinny person with less reserves detoxing. It is harder if you are skinny because of the reserves but autophagy is gonna happen either way. So I just think you have a difficult time because of the low reserves and this time it was less hard because you had more reserves and were around 20lbs heavier to begin with…

    • @s4isabadjoke247
      @s4isabadjoke247 Před rokem

      Although you dont detox any less, you will need to detox more if you are heavier because of the excess food you ate. It's relative, a skinny person doesn't have as much waste matter as a muscular/fat person who ate excess food to get there.

  • @lovepeaceandnogrease6840

    Hi Jeff. I have nagging questions about dead (distilled) water. If it only picks up inorganic minerals, then, as it flows through our body, picking up these minerals, does it not become alive again? And, isn't it good that it's picking up these inorganic minerals that can turn our arteries to stone?
    I've tested rainwater, and it's ZERO on my TDS. No minerals.
    Animals drink from leaves and puddles and even swimming pools loaded with chlorine.
    I've been drinking distilled water for a decade but am not sure what's true.
    There are no long term experiments to prove anytging, just chemistry and hearsay.
    I'm not convinced that mineral water is the best bet. I've seen them pull calcified minerals out of people's arteries (CZcams videos), and the calcification inside my cups and kettles when I drank mineral water. I've had the same kettle since I started distilling my water and it looks brand new inside.

      I think juicing is a great solution, I don't necessarily think you need to only drink juice. You should mostly be eating whole foods. But to increase uour electrolytes to being them back to a safe ace in order to be able to fast I would def recomend drinking atleast a Liter of celery juice per day. You would be surprised how quickly your levels will rise doing that.

      @@lexp6021 I've been eating shit from baby to my 25 years old. I'm now 32. I would love to be Whole Food Plant Based but I still struggle a lot with raw food and some type of food. My diet isn't perfect but it's much better in comparaison. Also, I hydrate way more than younger, clean my skin in a specific way, don't apply chemicals (or very little) in my body, do sometimes enemas-colonics, colon cleanses and small fasts. Planning doing a 21 day fast in Bali on my own soon too. TRS is a good tool too. I do my best, it's not perfect but if I keep worriying to much, it's gonna be counterproductive, it's not the point. I'm limited when it comes to cooking, preparing food, makes me so anxious and never know who to do etc and also I'm so picky. I take daily juices, try not to overeat, and ditched a lot of things at least.
