    Today's hunt reveals priceless Cartier watch and more rings. I had a call out from tracey who unfortunately lost her wedding band that was in the family for the past 70 years. She had lost her ring while swimming. Luckily Tracey had seen the ring slip off her finger and watched it sink to the bottom and tried to dive down after it. The ring had been covered by sand making her best efforts to retrieve her beloved ring impossible. After a quick search on Google Tracey found my website, lost jewellery recovery.com.au and thought there was still hope. After speaking with Tracey over the phone and organised a search time the next day, we met up and Tracey was able to give me an accurate search area.
    The first two hunts are on this vid and unfortunately I was unable to find Tracey's ring, I gave Tracey my word I won't give up searching and I'm still positive I will find it. The following week I return to the bay for the third time. The results of this third hunt are on the following vid#63👍🏻 So stay tuned for the next adventure.
    Until next time thanks for watching and happy hunting 💍 👍🏻

    Hello Michael oliver,
    in the mean time you probably found out allready, but the cartier watch is actually solid 1st grade silver (925/1000 parts argent (french), coming from the latin word for silver argentum), plated (plaque in french) with a 20 microns thick (20m) layer of 18k gold.

      You are correct the hole in the plate is so the person signaling could see where he was aiming mirror mainly used to aim at overhead planes.

    • @rysacroft
      @rysacroft Před 5 lety +1

      I had some that had a riveted hole in the centre of the mirror. Today if you go exploring you can use a CD for the same thing. Hold up the mirror (or CD) to your eye and look through the hole (shut the other eye). With your other arm held fully out track the aircraft with your thumb. Refect the sun onto your thumb and keep tracking the aircraft, they should see the flashes and rescue you.

    Hi Michael that batmobile looks like an old corgi jr model and would be worth something if it was still in its original box. the flat chrome plated thingy I believe is a signaling mirror that mariners use in an emergency usually packed with flares and the like. nice gold there too buddy.

    Michael, Wow! I've Never seen any piece of jewelry Or watch so encrusted that it actually had Crystals growing on it! Unbelievable! I really like Octopus. They're cute as heck and they really like investigating everything , being the very curious creatures that they are. I got hugged by one when I was a year or so old at Undersea World in Northern California way back when they had a huge open tank and my Daddy was holding me securely in his arm. It brought up a tentacle and investigated me very softly. I had no fear and my Daddy told me it was hugging me. I giggled and repeated what he said. I have loved all Octopus since that day. : ) Thank you for giving one of my favorite sea creatures a place in your vid. The Best to You from Nor Cali, US of A.

    Hi Michael, GREAT finds mate. Batmobile... had one exactly same (less corrosion lol), if I remember rightly it probs says 1976 Lensey Products. Saw blade pops out at front & fired bombs from the 3 tubes behind the canopy. Somat like that anyway haha.
    Thanks for sharing the hunt!

  • @Bioruss
    @Bioruss Před 3 lety

    I am sure the shiny stainless steel plate is used by the military as a mirror to shave in. I had one back in the 80's when I did my national service back in South Africa. Another thing I'd have those toy cars checked out by an expert because they can rake some serious money in if it's rare and preferably complete. There's an Aussie guy on youtube that refurbishes them, may be worth giving him a ring and seeing what he says.

    Excellent dive Michael, so no decompresion when shallow diving? Do you just dive till you run out of air? I want to get me a set up like yours, so the tank is floating in the surface or is it in a flotation device? Im looking for options since the shore, wet and dry are pounded todeath, this is in my opinion the way for amazing untouched terrain. Great video and great finds.

    Ok A couple of different things for me here. I have seen a lot of your videos from different years. And a couple of things that you do that I wanted like to see in further video's in 2020. A: STOP swimming after the underwater animals! Every time you see an octopus and something else. You go after it. Leave it alone. This is their world and you are a guest. Stop stressing them out. B: What would be nice to see is that when you have found something of interest. We would like to know what you do next with it. What was it worth? Did you sell it? Do you keep it? etc. etc. If not then all the videos you do (and I do like your videos) are mostly the same. I would like to see the outcome of what you find. That is what will keep me continue watching your videos!
