As an Avs fan, this man deserves a spot in the hall of fame as one of the best players to never win a cup. He was an absolute legend, and a terror to play against both in his time in San Jose, and in Dallas.
Hawks fan here, always admired this guy. Was a true pro and always someone who I looked forward to playing against. Nothing but respect for him. Wish he won a cup but nevertheless a hall of fame career. Best of luck Joe 🫡🫡🍺
I love you Pavs. Patrick Marleau, Joe Thornton, and Joe Pavelski will always be my favorite players. I still wish the Sharks would have found a way in 2016. I like Crosby, but I hated him in 2016. You three will always have a special place in my heart. I watched so many of your games in the wee hours of the morning in Virginia. I fell in love with the Sharks logo in NHL '95 and have been a loyal fan ever since.
Despite all the financial struggles I and my family faced, everything is finally falling into place! $47,000 weekly profit and riches I'll always praise the Lord
Elizabeth Regina Nelsen has set a precedent for others to follow. We cherish her here in the UK as she has been extremely helpful and made a lot of lives better.
Thank you Pavs, for everything you have done for the game of hockey. We absolutely loved you here in Dallas and I'm very thankful you were a part of this team. I really hope he stays with the Stars in some fashion. Take a year or two back at home, talk to the fam to see what the next move is. Maybe a coaching position in the future? Would be awesome!!
I grew up watching him play in San Jose and he is the hometown hero and my idol as a young hockey player. I played center so I could be like him I practiced tipping a lot so I could be like he this hurts to watch
Watched him as a teen in San Jose now I’m 30 and he’s still our hero , glad he was able to chase that cup for as long as he did, he started off as little joe next to big joe then by the time it was all said and done he was THE BIG PAVELSKi
I think he’ll be back. This sounds more like he wants a break which he may need. But when comes he back it’s gonna be in a teal. And what a ride we got to come when he does 😎
really appreciated captain america. had a great career overall. selfishly am hoping joe does an about-face and comes back to training camp. cheers from southern ontario, canada 🍁
Nothing but the ultimate respect for Joe Pavelski! What a great addition to the team and he will be greatly missed. So sad he couldn't get the Stanley cup this year. We all thought there was a good chance but they just came up short.
Being a lifelong Edmonton fan, I saw plenty of Joe in San Jose. It was hard to cheer against the guy, as he's a stand up player, and a class act. On Dallas, with Benn, another favourite of mine, I honestly wish both teams could somehow have gone on to another round. You don't need a cup, to be a HoF'er, Joe. If people don't give you the respect you deserve as a player, well, good is admiration from such people anyways? Whatever ya decide in terms of career, best of luck, and thanks for the great performances, even if I was cheering against you for all of them. Tc, bud. 🍻
Remember him watching him lead my Wisconsin Badgers to a national championship while in college. He was a class act then and still is. Thanks for representing well, Joe!
He's been great regular season and playoffs but this year playoffs 4pts in 19 games, he had no juice left. If he did, maybe Stars would be in the Finals.

What a class-act. His team loves him, the fans love him, and he's a warrior. Onward and upward, Joe!
Big stars fan your a hall of fame sad you didn’t get a cup but great career you’re one of the best players for the stars if not the best

Do you invest with a professional broker?? I'd appreciate it if you showed me how to go about it.
Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Wow! Kind of in shock you mentioned expert, Elizabeth Regina Nelsen. What a coincidence!!

Life is easier when the cash keeps popping
in, thanks to Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's services. Glad she's getting the recognition she deserves.
The greatest NHL player to never win the cup, for sure. Poor Pav have a great retirement 😢
What a great guy, God bless you on your ventures henceforth, wherever they may take you, Joey.

I will never forgive Wilson and the Sharks for letting captain America go to pursue EK65.. He was literally the soul of the team..
the literal downfall of the franchise at that point
Hindsight is 20/20 … man .. the good ol days
I caught so much bc the day they signed EK65 I said this will be the end of the core and I was right.
Joe we Love you man. We thank you. It's time though brother. You will always be welcomed here.

Great dude. Was awesome watching this guy play the last 5 years in a Stars sweater. Good luck to you, Joe.

Pavs come back to San Jose you'll be the point leader next year 😁

@@eddyks2485 I want Pavs to win a Cup, not be stuck on a rebuilding Sharks team. He's not going to win one in San Jose.
Thank you Joe. I wish it would have ended in another couple weeks with a win. Best of luck!
Great player and just as great a guy. I really hope we see you play next year.
Miss ya in San always did great things in the bay

Captain America... 😢

Love you ❤Joe, Great competitor true warrior!
Please don't give up P! 😭🙏🙏
Joe Pavelski had so memories as San Jose shark but he traded by Dallas ⭐️ he never get cup 😢
Jesus, I'm old.
would be cool if WFAA did this all year long
Classiest player in the NHL hands down. The sharks lost their team when they lost Joe.
Get some stem cell therapy. Knock 10 years off your body and go after it again!
Great player, great career and great human too 🏒
Awesome career, Joe. Great human. Thanks for everything #16
Glad to see the Dallas fans love him as much as us the SJ fans do. Thank you for everything, Joe. Let’s retire you in Teal.
I’m praying for it
Breaks my heart man
All the best for your games. Have a great day
what a dude
Really thought this was his year. Not a Stars or Sharks fan, but I really thought Dallas was the best team left. That's hockey though.
He's been great regular season and playoffs but this year playoffs 4pts in 19 games, he had no juice left. If he did, maybe Stars would be in the Finals.
they didnt put the puck in the net, plain and simple. im not blaming a near 40 year old for that
Classy guy all around. I can see him coaching some day.
Awesome Guy!
SAD, SO A GREAT PLAYER.
Hes so humble..❤
Pure class.
great for Joe, but who's the dawn key reporter who doesnt mention the guys name at 9:47?
