We just found your channel from this video, thanks for sharing! I’m contemplating building something similar to this.

This is the first video I watched on your channel and really enjoyed it. Absolutely love what you did with the space and I think it’s a very good idea. Specially, for homesteaders love the fact it’s connected to your root cellar brilliant. I have only started in the last few years to produce and make my own food. I even do my own butchery fish very mongering, canning, fermenting smoking and curing. Absolutely love the space and I think the dishwasher would be a great idea.. totally jealous of your big sink and stainless steel tables lock the table, the father-in-law weld it up will be great for butchering. For the top of the table, your father-in-law made I would recommend textured HDPE cutting board. These cutting boards are food safe, and can be scrubbed down there also textured to prevent meat and fish from slipping and moving around and minimize the damage to the edge of your knives.. the few things I would do differently would be, I would get one of those heavy duty shelving racks from Costco to hold all of my appliances and canning pot. I would have put tiles on the walls, with waterproof power outlets. I would’ve put a nonslip tile on the floor with a slight slope to a floor drain. This drain could’ve connected up to your sink and dishwasher. The advantages to these modifications would save time and help keep the place sterile as you could use a steam washer to wash down the walls. Your stainless steel surfaces, your butchery table and floor, keeping everything clean without using a load of chemicals cleaners. It would be like bringing mother nature indoors, and having a hot geyser clean the room. In the summertime I have helped my cousin and his business where he has refrigerated trucks and have use steam cleaners to wash them out best thing ever.. Hope you don’t mind the comments. Looking forward to seeing more of your content learning lots from people like you and others appreciate the knowledge share.

Where did you get that heavy duty metal table. That is something you can build a scullery around. Beautiful finished room. I know it will be used a lot. Keep inspiring us❤

Where did you source your sink? And the cost? Love your space and getting some inspiration for my own!
