stupid idea, but here goes nothing:
Ghost Kirby (improved?)
Ghost Kirby now has a basic "scare" attack. doesn't do much, but it's great in situations where you can't possess an enemy or are fighting a boss.
possessed enemies are now slightly stronger (around half of kirby's health), and possessed minibosses can use ALL of their attacks through different inputs
ghost's guard has kirby become intangible and invisible to most enemies. the main drawback is that Kirby is left vulnerable if he spends too long in his intangible state.

Man. Star Allies bright back a lot of fan favorites, like Yo-Yo, Water, and Beetle, as well as updating and improving other older abilities, like cleaning and cook.

Jesse Repas actually star allies picked water to return instead of poison the only reason poison was in that game is to add the whole 4 new abilities similar to triple deluxe and return to dreamland

They could justify the toxic gas and pools being a part of Water’s new moveset through hot steam and boiling water.

Actually, that was the Master Sword (yay, another Zelda reference) that Meta Knight tossed Kirby. It is even seen in the Ability's name as "Master."

Logan, have you heard? Kirby's getting a new game on Nintendo Switch in 2018 and it has it all. The Cleaning and Water abilities are returning, mix abilities from Kirby 64 are back, the Helpers are returning, you can summon 3 Helpers at a time (multiplayer) and it's just SO AWESOME!!! I'm so getting it when it comes out and you should, too (if you watched the trailer).

I always thought to give circus, magic and ghost the beetle treatment. Mansion. Possess enemies with a ghost dash attack, launch clown combos and balloons with circus, and use the top hat to murder everything cards and the doves. It would make all three abilities so much better, like how good beetle became because of it’s style.
I point to Wambu's expination of Water. The ocean isn't friendly! It hates you and makes sure you know it!
