Great boat..I have a 1972 runabout 23ft.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! I nearly forgot how a wood boat softly cut the water, my dad's 59 Chris Craft was a joy, then he bought a 72 Silverton and the first time in it I was shocked how the hull slapped the water. When he bought that ChrisCraft everyone was ditching their wood boats, they were dirt cheap, Trojan, Chris Craft, Penn Yann, Owens big twin screw cabin cruisers in excellent condition from the 50s and 60s could be hd for 2 or 3k, my how that changed.
Congratulations! There is no better feeling than the first launch/relaunch of a boat you built/rebuilt, Salute!
Beautiful!
Elegant and stately.
Amazing!
Beautiful. Niceeeee
nice.
Well done guys, living in Minnesota i know how gas can gum up a carb over the winter. Frustrating when you want to hit the water and the engine isn't up to it. I use STA BIL in the fall and it helps. Boat looks great
Thanks Randy. Yep. In addition to using only Ethanol-free premium, we treat all gas with Startron enzyme treatment. However, it's tough to treat an engine returning from rebuild that is not run until the preservation it is a component of is at the engine test run stage.
I agree, when you get an engine that hasn't run from a rebuild, that's a different story. Tough to know until you light it off and see how it runs. Outstanding work on all of your projects, fun to watch. Jealous of everyone's skills
What a beautiful boat !!! … you guys did a fantastic job on her restoration !!!
