- More than a century and a half after African Americans broke the chains of enslavement, breaking down the strains of DNA to figure out where they come from is filled with roadblocks making it difficult to trace their ancestry.
I started an got so discouraged but today I found this video so I'm encouraged to start again. Thanks tons peeps!

I just discovered through a DNA test that my ancestry traces back to the Mali Empire. I am a Mandinka, and it appears that there are only a few of us based on our DNA. It's amazing to think that I come from a lineage of kings and never knew it! It took me this long to do a test. I've been in awe for days now
I had mine done through African ancestry..my mother is from The ateke and tsogo tribes of Gabon and the mbundu tribe from Angola and my father's side is from The kanuri tribe of Nigeria

You can help yourself by finding your own lineage in genealogy... Many of us aren't from ALKEBULAN... Look up 12 places named Africa... neither one is a continent... That speaks volumes!

The trace lineage past slavery of us is we fashioned humans we gave birth to new race and yet people do not get it that only a Black female can give birth to different colors of babies even albino can come from a Black women.
