- Hi. My name is Marlin :) I'm a cat....raised by dogs. And I think I'm a dog. I live in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my mom, Caroline Jarvis, and dad, Mack Hopkins....and they are about to get married! I have 4 dog siblings - Buxton, Hattie, Shady and Buoy. They've taught me everything I know. My favorite things are going to the beach to go splashing and walking in the ocean, jumping on the boat to go fishing, eating fresh seafood, and swimming in the canal. You said it perfectly, he’s so fun to watch and they are all so content with each other. To see Marlin drinking out of the dog bowl and playfully hopping on the dogs or running into the ocean is such a treat for us.
The amount of love poured onto these well taken care of babies does my heart good!

He keeps the Spaniels on their toed!! I have missed a 4th dog somewhere!! You are so blessed to have a beach you all can run and play on!! I am in Southern California! Finding some beach like yours, is unheard of!! Seeing Marlin look in the dogs water bowl, seems like he is looking at himself? I think I saw Marlin here before I saw your article in People Magazine!! Marlin is indeed a celebrity!! Adorable!!🐅💞🐕🐾

So much action and so many beautiful fur babies but one of my favorite moments is when Marlin takes a little time out to just gaze at his beautiful reflection in the water bowl. Is that me? Boy, am I adorable!💕💕💕😺
This is one of the luckiest family of critters on the planet! What fun trained humans they have!
I LOVE MARLIN, HE'S SO PERSONABLE AND JUST WONDERFUL.. HE GREW SO MUCH, SO QUICKLY ! 🐈💨😻🌎👍😺💕☯️👑☮️✨😸😽🐱 He's a gentleman and like a rock ⭐, that's just a normal cat-dude dog!! + he's no little Kitty anymore; He's A BIG BOY, IN THE BIG-BOY

He did grow pretty quickly but he's still a small cat...in my eyes :) I love that...cut-dude dog :) haha!
Yeah I'm confident that Marlin knows exactly who he is and what he is. He just loves dogs, they're big and warm and furry and he can scratch on them. He knows dogs don't climb trees or have claws. Smart cat and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Hi. Marlin appears to be so FEARLESS !! He was on that couch alone, dominating that spot, that one dog looked a little sad because HE couldn't be there because Marlin was !!! Marlin plays with those dogs that are 5x or greater than himself, but the dogs are gently with "little brother". Even on the beach, he doesn't hesitate to go exploring with or without the pack. Independent boy. Peace to you and yours

he SERIOUSLY always wants to be with the dogs doing whatever they are dong....ever since the day we got him...its crazy! :)
I love watching your videos. All your fur babies are so cute. As a retired Vet. Tech. I worry about some of the "accidents waiting to happen:" That cord hanging from the blind could potentially get wrapped around a neck and kill a pet or child. Or get wrapped around a leg and cut off circulation. Dogs in the back of the truck should be cross-tied. Watch out for curious animals wanting to lick a play with fishing line and hooks! Laundry soap and other things sitting in close proximity to animals can be a danger. I like to make sure that the same way I would child-proof my house is the same way I would "animal-proof it too. Better safe than sorry. I hope you will take these suggestions into consideration. I truly want to see more videos of Marlin and his siblings. BTW, when are you getting married? You've got to have the animals involved in the ceremony and post the video. I think Marlin would be the perfect ring bearer. (Just don't let him carry the real rings. ; ) )
I am a "dog person" for life.....BUT Marlin is the only "cat" that has ever made me question that! Luv ya! From Canada.
Cutest kitten ever. .He's lucky to have a couple of dogs keeping track of him. I would not have believed he could swim in that water if I hadn't seen it for myself. He must be a delight to have around. I love that he gets to go outside, supervised by the dogs, of course. They all get along so well.
Marlin and his siblings are superstars! I'm quite pleased to see Marlin has conquered tree climbing despite his previous struggles as a kitten . Other than that the video was great and I enjoyed the upbeat and melodic music. God Bless your hearts! 😺🤙

I subscribed about a month ago and so enjoy watching Marlin and your dogs. Where did you get him from? A shelter, a friend? I loved when he could see his reflection in the water bowl and when he was pulling the giant octopus toy. He probably doesn't even play with little cat toys.

I can easily see Marlin is extra special. I had a cat like a dog and I loved her passionately. But it’s a wonder I still had her all of her seventeen years and she didn’t lose her home because I treated her like a dog and cats just aren’t dogs. So be more protective of your special cat so you don’t lose him.
