Skarmory, Metagross, Salamence, Tyranitar, and more, are members of the metagame.

They were wrong about Blaziken.
Or were they?
Anyway, Jim's Mugs: jimothycool.com/
Blaziken is good guys! Proceeds to play 3 games where it did nothing but get chip damage and get sacked.
What a…Blunder.
This might be an agency vid in disguise
Blaziken is such a good pokemon, won't even take the spotlight away from his teammates during his own video.
Ok but that sky uppercut on blissey was huge
@@Brant-vh5mkgood guy Blaziken
Blaziken should give way to ADV OU staples like mixed poliwarth and rain dance Butterfree
Probably not on the same team, the chicken likes the sun.
Speaking of, when are we getting double chicken team (sunny day moltres + blaziken + some non sand abuser like suicune/salac hera/curselax)
Rain dance Trick double powder Butterfree to be specific, that thing is so good it could be an Uber
I think Blaziken's curse might be the fault of the Charizard supremacists
True story: When Blaziken got High Jump Kick in gen 5, I first tried it out with Wide Lens. My very first Blaziken High Jump Kick missed, with a 1% chance to miss. The curse has always been real. But thank you for showing that Blaziken is, indeed, a Pokemon.
Same bro, I hate those 1% misses and my opponent thinking I just rolled a 10%
"Blaziken is a pokemon"
This is the first I've heard of this. Thank you for informing me, jimothy cool.
Kind of a controversial opinion tbh, lots of experts have shown contradictory evidence to that claim. Pretty insane.
Idk if you take a closer look it's clearly a digimon. The V on its forehead resembles that of Shoutmon
Sadly blaziken doesnt stand anywhere near the OU staples like pikachu duskull and butterfree
I'm amazed by Jim's ability to consistently put 1 useless Pokemon in his team and just win with the other 5
Who cursed Blaziken? Two words:
*Iron. Mugulis.*
I still say that Hot Wings, the Fire/Flying Past Paradox form of Blaziken, tied up the real Blaziken and locked him in a supply closet sometime during ADV Revival in other to impersonate him in the one place without Stealth Rock.
Now I want a normal/flying past paradox form of bouffalant called wild wings
Blaziken is a wallbreaker, its duty is to destroy Skarmbliss.
Each turn you don't click the move that can do the highest average damage considering everything that's likely to switch in, you stay in and aim to ko something in particular on the switch.
You don't go for the safest move, you take chances! You Overheat the Blissey, you focus punch the Skarmory, you Rock Slide the Metagross. The worst thing to face is Swampert, it never switches out unless you show HP Grass instead of Rock Slide.
You obviously need reliable defensive switch-ins to fall back on when you predict wrong.
What I'm saying is many high-level players play Blaziken wrong, it should be played like a mid level player. But I do understand it's very hard to switch your mindset multiple times during a match.
Alternate title : "Blaziken achieves very little, as usual"
BREAKING NEWS: the region of Hoenn has been rocked by a recent scandal. It has just come to light that the regional hero Blaziken has been having matches rigged against it by an unknown figure. While the identity of the figure is unknown, anonymous sources have told us that it is the doing of none other than the notorious Iron Mugulis.
blaziken did one thing in this entire video (hit sky uppercut for 50% on bliss)
Thrilled to see you back on the ladder Jim. Splendid clicks as always
This is some BLAZING hot gaming right here folks.
Love the music sync-up with the explosion at 12:47
The Chicken, in fact, is still raw. This is terrible news folks
This is truly a comment
Truly one of the Pokémon of all time
Jimothy Gaming is back. This is insane.
he's blazikenough after all
Love these!
Blaziken so utterly single handedly destroys big 5 teams, sadly every other team has multiple checks to it
Blaziken does ok against stall and that's about it.
I did not expect to see myself in the final game, when I just started playing lmao
Ggs Jim
Edit: Just FYI, the Celebi was a Giga Drain, Leech Seed, CM, BP set
So after you took down Aero and Kingdra, you were pretty much set
That SyfAdam game was pretty crazy
Great job to Blaziken being a cheerleader!!
I was super mega not expecting to open then video and hear FF14 music, but very pleasantly surprised! Love a jimothy live 💜
I honestly believe that Big Skarma is the culprit behind Blaziken's awful luck. This is insane.
That celebi was not messing around. It was completely serious.
I love this chill remix of the ff5 theme
jim ur the best we love you jim
This is insane.
It’s the return of Jimothy Gaming, if you can believe it.
I do believe it
Oh I just saw the finals happened in adv revival- I’ll need to watch that afterwards
The Pokemon company found Blaziken in the dumpster outside Digimons creative department and you cant convince me otherwise.
JIMOTHY GAMING RETURNS WOOOOOOOOO THIS IS INSANE
a funny blaziken set i used once was
Blaziken @ Salac Berry
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 16 Atk / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
Naive Nature
- Substitute
- Sky Uppercut
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
In late game sweeper fashion, I would pass CM from Celebi and go from there. Atk evs to guarantee OHKO on max HP ttar. Of course bulky waters and other fire types are an issue but fire blast still chunks them hard, most of them can't switch in and THEN take a blaze boosted fire blast especially if chipped. The aforementioned Celebi would alleviate its bulky water problem. OHKOing a Charizard at +2 was hilarious too.
Did you run a weather cleaner as well?
@@Dragostorm21 i didn't because i don't like sun setters while rain setters damp blaziken down, so blaziken was always on a timer. Sometimes I would exploit this by not subbing until the salac range but getting a salac boost on a turn it attacked, which was funny
@@kenshiro8984but funny double fire chicken team
@@Dragostorm21 double fire chicken would be hilarious, plus under sun they don't share any weaknesses (arguable, blaziken might just be considered weak to rock because it has such poor bulk)
i like that for 3 generations gamefreak just didn't allow fighting moves to be accurate or good, honestly makes me appreciate getting close combat in gen 4 even more
the best part about BLAZIKEN is that he is a bird thats not a flying type
Month 6 of me trying to convince everyone Typhlosion is outright better than Blaziken in ADV.
Blaziken works phenomenal as a cheerleader.
Blaziken is paying for his sins in later generations before they happened
Just Tera water in front of Kingdra
Sigh Gen 9 brain rot taking hold in me
Got up to 1500 or so on the ladder with Lead Blaziken. I really like it personally, even if 1500 with no tournament results isn't the best statistically lol
Who cursed Blaziken? It was you!
We’re gaming folks
agency mentioned at 16:56
Every blaziken has its blunder
Jimothy, would this happen to be the premier destination for entertainment focused video content?
blaziken really clutched the last one
i see what you did there
Said to see it’s fate in gen 9 falling to uu with a high chance of it being in uubl like it was last gen
Can you poste the pokepaste link? Maybe you could post the link the team in the description moving forward, I am sure lots of players would like to try the teams they see you play on videos.
Game freak told blaziken no you can’t have anything good when they made his signature move worse than flamethrower and gave it a chance to miss
thank god it got redeemed in gen 4 with the split
When your chicken goes from KFC to BKC
And that's crit-petetive Pokemon, folks!
Blaziken is a bad lead, too many things scare it out. A Sub-Salac Reversal Blaze set could have potential, coming in on a passive opponent or after a KO
Give ninjasks speed boost to blaziken. Restore balance to the tier smogon.
FF14 music ❤
why does sky uppercut even have a miss chance
what is with these inaccurate for no reason moves😅
I think part of the problem is ADV barely having any good Fighting attacks. Imagine if Close Combat existed in Gen 3
You don't even need it, the issue is that the already existing fighting moves are sparse on good Pokémon. If every decent fighting type got superpower or HJK there wouldn't be an issue
@@pookiegaming75 HJK wasn't good until Gen 5 iirc
@@williamdrum9899 it'd still be a better alternative to most other moves
Itsjimmythicc
gamming
You cursed it ... use brickbreak.
Definitely need more accurate moves
Blaziken was my favorite in Ruby. Ugly Chicken.
blaziken didn’t do anything in this video 😢
is scizor ever used in gen 3?
In gen 3, it does not have the moves to be extremely useful.
without bullet punch or u-turn, scizor is very mediocre, but there are things it can do:
1-Bulky Swords Dance pass, typing is pretty neat to safely SD up in some matchups, you also have stab silver wind to omnipass if you're lucky
2-Agility Liechi berry Reversal sweeper, even without stab, reversal from scizor hits pretty hard and unlike other potential users, its got the bulk to setup more easily
Its still a pretty not good pokemon even with that, but it could work
I know it is annoying but could you please consider not skipping turns when recording gameplay because I have no idea what is going on
This sounds very rude, but can you not read?
@@nomis2268 of course I can but it is much more fun to watch the animations instead of reading the battle log
Hey Jimothy, I noticed that like half of the mons in every team are running Leftovers, meaning ADV OU doesn't apply the Item Clause found in other generations. What's the deal? Do you have a video explaining why ADV wouldn't have an Item Clause, or if not, could we possibly get one please?
Item clause is only applicable in vgc. In other generations of ou, you can also use the same item on two or more mons on the same team.
For example in gen 8 we saw quite a bit of HDB spam with regenerator cores.
@@remysmetsReally? Damn, I never noticed
Given the central nature of Tyranitar in ADV, a lack of leftovers would be really punishing for anything not already immune to sand. I’d expect mons like Suicune and Snorlax to drop off the radar given how much they need leftovers to counteract sand, while already big names like Tyranitar, Swampert and Skarmory get even better.
@@kardar233That makes sense
There also aren't very many different good hold items in Gen 3 either.
What I've learned from the last few days of videos is this is a clown game lmao
is this BKC mandated propaganda after losing that set?
