nice looking farm! i used to raise catfish back in the day. i was 32 recently divorced and physically in the best shape of my life. i raised catfish, bighead carp and grass carp and i really enjoyed it. im 65 now and i wish i was still able to do all that!

Corn and soy beans are not normal foods for fish, the stuff on the bottom is. FYI. Bottom feeders are still really good, for the environment and great to eat. No worries, no problem. Unless they are caught near an oil spill site, then all bets are off.

@@alfredkortue7909- Yes. catfish seeds are available everywhere. You can get some at Lowes. Take them home, plant them in little cups and wait until they germinate. EZ-PZ.

Bit different there compared to here in california. We sell our catfish to live markets in San Francisco. That 45 degree cooler tank is really interesting to see. It’s a great idea

There are many kinds of catfish. The one they farm look like channel catfish. In that case, they are not 100% bottoms feeder.

They ARE bottom-dwellers in nature, and your should NOT feed them corn and/or soybeans! That's why commercial catfish is nasty. Wild-caught catfish are delicious. The farmed ones I've bought are fatty, rubbery and taste terrible. No thank you.

@@mallaryadams5854 yeh I had to bail on this one. She has that Savannah Guthrie thing going on talking through her nose which makes that God awful nasal sound. So many women are doing that nowadays. I wonder if there is a school they go to for learning how to talk like that. About 2 words out of Savannah Guthrie’s mouth and I am changing the channel. If women knew how stupid that sounds then they would not do it. Sorry but I just can’t tolerate that bullshit.
