my very first Gemmy Spinning Snowflake Snowman (read description)

Very cool but sad story about this one. One night (11/11/2018) while I was getting out of the shower, my parents surprised me with this. I had been asking for one since 2011 and my parents never got me one until then. I even turned down a PS4 over this and I still would over any animatronic. This was the 2nd most excited I've ever been over anything in my entire life (1st is my 1999 Christmas Furby.) My mom said that the eBay seller had lied to her and told her that it was in fully working condition. But as you can see in the video, that's not true. I ended up trying to fix it and I DESTROYED this poor guy. I opened up the hip swinging gearbox but didn't know what was wrong with it (it had a split 10 tooth pinion gear.) The hat tipping gearbox had a split 32 tooth square shaft gear and a split 8 tooth pinion gear. I attempted to glue them back together but they failed on the first revolution 💀💀 Gorilla Glue SUCKS!! After a whole year of trial and error, I gave up and scrapped him for parts unfortunately. threw away the base, PCB, and a few other parts that I "didn't" need. I hate myself every time I think about it. I was just a dumb lil' redneck 11 year old who didn't deserve this snowman.
