I cried a bit at the scene in Jesus' tent in season 2 episode 6 when he tells Mary to look up and he forgives her because eight years ago I turned my back on God because I was being emotionally abused by a guy I thought loved me and I would look up at the ceiling of my bedroom or out the window and ask God why I was being emotionally abused (which why I relate to Nathaniel in episode 2 when he's under the tree) and I felt I didn't get an answer and I knew God forgave me but when Jesus told Mary he forgives her I felt like God was saying that to me.

Look up "vertical church films" on CZcams and they'll pop up. They kinda remind me of how the show "Sherlock" did a 60 minute pilot before the BBC picked up the show and made it iconic. You can see how they tested things out in the vignettes, and then leveled up with filmmaking in The Chosen.
