@@hitechinstitution so we wrote a shell script which checks with docker inspect and if it's there it does not pull new image and if it is not there it pulls the new image. So we are good now. But yes this is important issue everyone will face once in their lifetime working with ecr.

What is EOF error while pushing the image
When I push an image to ECR, an EOF error occured means, the remote repository does not exist.
I am getting the error, the image already exists in the ecr, we have immutability enabled on our images.
