Great video my friend! Thanks for taking us along on another great adventure. #Itchin'2Fish rocks!
Wow! A new place, found fish and close to home!!! Another great day on the water!!!! Thanks for taking us along! I haven't seen your Dad in a video with you in a while. I sure hope he is well and doing good. I kind of miss seeing him along on your adventures.
Appreciate it! We should be going out pretty soon. He had a health scare, but he is getting his strength back. He had a mild heart attack. Found some blockage, but catching it early. Thanks for noticing and checking on him.
@@Itchin2Fish June 26, 2016 is a day I will never forget for as long as I can remember! I had a mild heart attack myself. I definitely understand what he is going through. In my case, I was back to work in a few days. I hope his experience is similar. Thanks for that update. Prayers already sent for him to have a complete recovery and getting back to causing a ton of fish to have sore lips!!!!
@@billmccullough2323 glad you recovered from yours quickly and hopefully it’s under control for you. Appreciate the prayers!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff dude
I’m new to river fishing (just bought a ck1), and was hoping you’d show your trip back through the whitewater. You didn’t disappoint. Great stuff all around.
That’s the funniest part for me. 😂
Welcome to the Crescent family. My friend has a CK and he loves it. It’s awesome!
Thanks for watching
Nice! I used to use topo maps to find pike ponds along the CN & CP railways along Georgian Bay back in the day. Still have em in Ziploc freezer bags to keep them dry in the boat, as they were also our satnav system.
great video of your adventure and I especially appreciated to the inclusion of your bad cast into the tree. I thought I was the only one that does that! LOL
Appreciate the view and comment. Making sure I stay humble. 😂 you are not alone.
I continue to be jealous of the quality waters you have around you man. I LOVE those types of off the grid adventures. ANd you even got to give your Jeep some offroad time. What could be better?
Awesome video. I just came back from my 4 day trip on the buffalo caught a bunch. Now im ready to just move up there 😂.
Great video!!.... Just one question...How are you staying in one place with that rushing water?!
😂 got to be quick!
When I don’t have my anchor wizard or micro pole, I try to stay in the eddies as much as possible. The big rocks sticking up slightly above the water diverting the current is what I was holding in mainly. I also keep my nose up in the current, you can hold spots better and keep a slow drift pace vs being sideways. Tight lines friend!
Hey man, a question arose from one of your catches at the 9:20 mark. Anyway, you said you were going to get the fish back quickly because it was bleeding. Why throw it back as opposed to a catch and cook? Do they have miraculous healing properties back in the water or something? I realize that storage might be an issue. But if possible wouldn't it be better to take the fish that has been injured? Thanks for the forthcoming answer. I'm new to the angling world and have wondered the why of it
Great questions and welcome to the sport.
Fish blood naturally clots in water. That's why they can survive small dings and scrapes. Unlike mammals, who have platelets to clot blood, fish have thrombocytes.
Also this fish was 10-11” long. The legal limit is 12” or looto keep on this water way. If I got caught with it, there would have been a fine. Low risk, but a hefty fine. 😂
Hope that answers your questions friend. Tight lines!
@@Itchin2Fish Great info. And I agree, never give Mr. Green Jeans a reason to write you up. :)
What is the revolver lure you’re using?
It’s made by Googan. It was a dollar cheaper vs plopper, so I got it. 😂. It’s the small size compared to the 90 size whopper plopper.
love the hat ,love the jeep , nice duckies and the the awesome new place! you are blessed !
It was a good day friend. Thanks for tagging along.
