  • Drone footage of San Jose, California taken with my DJI Mini 3 Pro. Amazing 4K video. Take in the great Silicon Valley city and the hub of many tech companies. I unfortunately had to leave out a few important areas such as San Pedro market and SAP center due to their proximity to the SJC airport. Comment below and let me know what you love most about San Jose!

    Great job. San Jose is so vast so many districts and neighborhoods. Maybe in a part 2 you can fly over Willow Glen, Alum Rock Park, View of the Valley at night from Grandview restaurant on Mt Hamilton rd.

    Great video! I got a drone recently and starting to make some videos. Did you have to get permission to fly in some of these places like Levi's and Great America?

    Third largest city in California (behind Los Angeles and San Diego) and the tech capital of the entire West Coast, I might even go as far as to say San Jose's been a bit overlooked by comparison. All it's really lacking at this point is an NBA team, an MLB club, and an NFL team (guess the Golden State Warriors still make a convenient "loop hole" regarding the first of the three, lol). At least they got hockey and soccer covered in the meantime...
    😅

    • @volaredrones
      @volaredrones  Před rokem +1

      I think it's overlooked because it feels much more like a sprawling suburb and office center to the bay area and San Francisco. SF takes the spotlight away in terms of attractions and history from SJ a lot imo. I remember when the San Jose Sharks was an extremely strong team back in the day. But never won the Stanley cup

      San Francisco is the core city of the Bay Area. San Jose just a suburban city. And SF was named the tech capital, not San Jose.

    You showed Westfield Valleyfair and Great America in this video, yet these 2 places are in Santa Clara, not San Jose!

    • @volaredrones
      @volaredrones  Před 11 měsíci

      Correct. And so is Levi's stadium. The mall is actually split in half by the two city limits and the fact that Levi's Stadium also takes the liberty to host the SF 49ers I thought I'd take the liberty as well and pass them into the San Jose video due to proximity and significance. And I was not sure when I'd get the time to do Santa Clara.

    I bet if San José didn’t have height restrictions it’d have some nice tall sky skrapers, but at the same time those small buildings do make San Jose seem like a smaller town than it is.

    • @volaredrones
      @volaredrones  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Interesting. I was not aware the city had a limit to building heights for the whole city. Makes sense around the airport but not for the whole city. It definitely is more of a sprawling city than a tall one.
