They are forcibly sending me a creepover party Twyla. It’s not even the same character or generation I am so confused

Honestly this whole situation is just awful, I can’t believe they don’t count damaged packaging as a defect..?? and the missing bat??
At this price point it definitely should be considered a defect!! The packaging is part of the doll, I really don’t understand that policy

I called Amazon and they gave me a refund and I got to keep the dolls. One was a Tween missing sunglasses the other is a Looks doll with a broken stand. Also Walmart recently gave me a $5 credit on a box that had damage and a $10 online coupon. But those dolls were alot cheaper.
my drac was shipped WITHOUT an Amazon box 😭 the box was ripped and dented, and she was covered in dust and dirt, and they slapped the shipping label on the front of the box. there was literal dirt INSIDE the box, I was so pissed off.
Mine has stickers on the front of the actual doll too. If you wait until she is in stock through Amazon LLC and not a 3rd party you should be able to do an exact exchange. I had to keep checking the site like hourly as she goes so fast but it's worth the attempts. 😊
This situation is even more insane because when I ordered mine I had to SPECIFY and check off an option to ship the doll with a box. WHY WOULD SHE NOT COME WITH A BOX TO BEGIN WITH??????

Yeah Im so glad i am not the only one that was told that the packaging was not a defect. I was like wow what a cop out.
I’m planning to call them and make my case, I really feel like that’s a terrible excuse to not compensate people because at a price point like this doll sells for it absolutely is a defect
@@Courtly_Jester let me/us know how it goes. I was a little shocked they said that to me because we all know that in collector dolls your also paying for the price plus a lot of people dont take there's out of the box. I wasn't going to for mine
I am kinda disappointed by Mattel,many people had the same issue with you. I think she is one of the greatest dolls but the situation sucks.
If Mattel keeps at this they'll lose 99% of customers

She looks more like the original G1 doll which is a plus.
Not the Creepover Twyla apology again... I can't even find a Twyla in México! Did they keep them all to send them as apologies? They sure must have made them again cuz they will need a lot for the Vampire Heart release...
At first, I regretted buying her off of eBay after the first drop sold out quickly. But the eBay seller was a very reputable and 100 percent positive feedback shop. I paid an extra fifty, which covers shipping and the eBay seller fee (I think). It was worth it to me since I’ve been busy and working, and would have missed the drops anyway. I’m glad I did now bc the seller sent me pics of her, and she’s undamaged. If I did have problems I could have sent her back to the eBay seller - it seems like Mattel and Amazon are a pain to deal with.
I may have to just bite the bullet and get her second hand like you did because Amazon/Mattel has lost their damn minds allowing this mess with Draculaura and her packaging to happen.
@@sissysovereign1294 yeah it really sucks but imo I’d rather be buying her for 150 and be able to see the box and doll itself on eBay first with no damage. I also did it bc I was also worried about her resale price going up to 300 or 400 like her other 2015 collector doll or haunt couture release. The extra 50 is not too terrible atm.
I'm not an in box collector. So I only really care if the item was intact. But if I paid that much money and pieces are missing I'd be livid. I don’t like Twyla because has vacant creepy doll stare. 😬
My haunt couture Cleo’s leg doesn’t bend. It’s melted to the other leg. Mattel told me they could refund it but not give me another doll so she is just like that forever ig.
My guess on Clawdeen's drink is maybe a sparkling monster version of Liquid Death. Like they don't even have to spooky pun it because it's already done for them. Or it's just there so a bunch of kids can ask each other, "What's your poison?"
im so frustrated with mattel at the moment, not only are they STILL not giving any options to buy there dolls in the uk and from what i hear a lot of other European countrys and even IN america where there actually selling there dolls there being stupid with it! they need to stop over charging, give normal doll saran already, start making the og creeproductuions again and offer international shipping on there site!!!!!
I had to return mine for a damaged box to amazon. At 1st my only option was to return and get a refund. Wait until she is in stock from amazon not a 3rd party. Then once she is in, be fast, and you should be able to do an exact exchange. I checked at least once an hour and I got to do an exact exchange. No money out of pocket, and my replacement came in great condition. Good luck!

Idk why they think sending a Creepover Twyla is adequate compensation. Ridiculous. Idk about the US but here if you can "prove" that the suggested compensation is not fair you can push for a monetary refund or an exchange. (Ex: Creepover being 25 (?) USD sales price while VH is 100. VH aimed at adult collectors vs Creepover aimed at kids.... you get the idea.) The second you approve of compensation you have no further legal support for the same issue though. Sounds like they don't wanna go minus on the production of this doll and are trying to cop out with a much lower priced doll as compensation.

most stores have the same policy, in their eyes the box the doll comes in is protecting the doll, so the if the actual doll isnt damaged they arent going to do squat and to be honest i dont trust mattell anyway. im so glad mine came completely fine it shipped inside of another box inside of the amazon box with walmart branding on it (??? dunno what thats about lol) but when i got howliday draculaura off mattel creations she had hair stitched into her ear like the hairline was super fucked up and they told me to send the doll back to them and theyd send a replacement. i had to reach out again because i hadnt heard anything and they said oh just kidding we dont have anymore so heres a refund. i was so pissed. DO NOT SEND HER BACK. id never send my doll back to them for any reason again. also this is the 2nd time ive heard of mattel sending creepover twyla as a replacement for a draculaura doll thats so weird lmao

Omg they did that to me with fan-sea Lagoona too! Like I have Twyla and she’s not even same value of what I paid for fan-sea been different if they had a selection. Poor Twyla

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and everyone else who's gotten her so far xCanadensis. I really REALLY want to get this Drac so bad...but after hearing all of these horror stories regarding how damaged everyone's blackheart Draculaura is, I'm really wondering if she's even worth sacrificing the money for anymore.. it's a huge shame because I'm a major Draculaura fan and this doll of her is so beautifully detailed. I hope Mattel does better soon because making fans pay out the ass only to receive a damaged doll seems like a rip off to me.

OK, so I'm not the only one having a problem . I bought mine it got shipped and suddenly its delayed and it has not Moved I'm assuming That it got stolen, or it was never in stock. So thanks, Amazon/Mattel.
