Stephan: I look at Westbrook differently than you do. I look at Westbrook having a dual role..
Skip: A dual role? He has a solo role. shoot.

That isn't what a poing guard is supposed to do though, that's Skip's point. He's saying that Westbrook is a 2 guard, and if the Thunder started somebody else at point guard it would be better for the team. He's not saying Westbrook is bad, he's saying Westbrook shouldn't take more shots than Durant, which he obviously shouldn't. I mean why does the point guard with the 3 time scoring champion take 4 more shots than him EVERY GAME?

Actually in basketball years its not when you considering the guy never played point gaurd in his life until he got to the NBA and now all of a sudden he's being asked to play the most complicated position on the floor when his natural instinct is that of a scoring gaurd. Point gaurds are born. You don't just magically become a point gaurd. Philly tried that once upon a time with Iverson, it doesn't work that way.

yes, but you can't say that he is "11th or 12th" in rotation...this guy is 3rd best player in this team and maybe one of better SGs in league, in any other team he would be starter and he would average 20+ ppg, but because of Westbrook (not good as PG btw) and because there is no one who can come of the bench - he comes of the bench and plays GREAT!
truth to be told, I think that OKC would have chance to beat Heat in The Finals with some other player running the point, but not with Westbrook...

I honestly think that he's so ultra competitive that he thinks that if someone scores on him, that he has to go back down the floor, and show them up. That's just youth showing, his decision making will get better as he gets older, and more experience under his belt. I think he understands that Kevin Durant needs the ball in key situations, he just wants to be that guy, and you can't dog him for that. He'll be great PG one day, his passing has already gotten better this year.

Remember now that Dwight Howard is in the west, there gunna be seeing alot of Dwight, I would want the best defense possible to take out the best threat. They should have jumped when Steve Nash became available. CP3 isnt going anywhere anymore hes gunna play the rest of his valuable career in LA.Boston will be only desperate enough team to trade for Westbrook. But not yet

  • @Sonido007
