I’m fully in Christmas mode lol I watched the grinch twice last month 😂😂 I’be been talking about having a Christmas movie night with hot chocolate for the past week and I’m minutes away from rewatching Zoe’s vlogmas from past years
Enjoy your babymoon ,i hope you get to read relax and just recharge your batteries:)...Oh and the fruit craving ,with all mine it was oranges ,with my last i consumed so many carrots my skin turned orange...really:). The cake looked amazing too btw ,and had me salivating!! xx
Grace, I can take my hayfever meds while pregnant. Obviously check again with your doctor but I take ceterizine (don't know if its the same in English) every day. Might be worth it to go and check. It is an over the counter med. in the Netherlands. But again: check with your doctee first.
No antihistamine is recommended in the UK, if the risk to the mother if she went without it is greater than the effects on the infant then the medication is encouraged. Otherwise it's best not to take almost anything during pregnancy 😫
Ah that explains! Here my doctor says its fine and the packaging says to discuss it with your doctor. Ever since I became pregnant it has been fascinating to me how different recommendations are depending on where you live.
From the nhs guidance on who can take antihistamines: Loratadine is usually recommended if you need to take an antihistamine in pregnancy. Loratadine or cetirizine are usually OK to take while breastfeeding.
Grace I hear you - I'm a true Canadian winter girlie. I hate summer & my social media (especially instagram) is full of Holiday countdowns and winter themed stuff - I can't wait!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I love Christmas as well. When I found out about Christmas in July it made me love it even more. But Christmas in July is for those that have cancer/ any illness and their families know that they might not be here for the holiday. You can watch movies and donate just as you would during Christmas. Congratulations on baby boy! 🎉
Try finding a locally made honey. It might help with your hay fever. Also, Itsu seaweed thins for the iodine. Don't get the wasabi ones :/ Each packet will give you 60% ish of your iodine and good for keeping your thyroid functioning properly.
Not sure if any other hot chocolate lovers have tried Betty’s Hot Chocolate but it’s super good and fancy and I love making it bc you make it on the hob with hot milk and it’s so festive feeling!
Did you know that the thing where you hear a sound and feel the need to repeat it, actually has a name? It’s called Echolalia (ecko-lay-lee-ah) and is quite a common neurodivergent trait. Apparently there are a few different types and hearing someone say a phrase and then feeling the need to carry on a song with the same phrase in it is one of them - I do this A LOT lol. Some people communicate with memes, with me, it’s song lyrics 🤪
Late to this, but saw the Remo gelato and had to comment 😅 I tried the tiramisu flavour (yellow sticker win), and it was gorgeous, texture was silky! Half a pot gone in a second though. Also, a few vids ago you recommended a granola from a small business and we tried the Victoria Sponge flavour... it was bloomin' good!

I do not have hayfever but when I was pregnant my OB told me pregnant people hold more mucous than normal.... soooo the hayfever may also be hayfevering harder because your body is gonna keep itself super protected by staying congested.
Pregnancy sinus rhinitis is a thing so may not be related to Hay fever. Pregnancy causes increased blood flow to the mucous membranes of the nasal turbinates which causes the congestion. Sterimar the nasal douche can be helpful to reduce the inflammation of the mucosal membranes in the nose due to the ingredients namely sea water salts and purified water to help shrink the membranes
I've seen quite a few content creators launch a t-shirt or hoodie for sale where the profits go to a charity of their choice / they partner with a charity. This would be great to see from you and I'm sure your followers would be keen to buy a grack designed item!
My midwife and pharmacist advised me you can take antihistamine when pregnant but it’s best to take a non-drowsy version (probably so you don’t trip and fall or something) the pharmacist said some people only said immediately no because there’s not much research into it as there is painkillers etc, so I guess do what you feel is best 😊
Grack!!! My first job was working at Boost Juice, and even though I'm Australian, I have a feeling the recipes for the drinks are similar. I still remember the recipes for the most popular drinks, so I just sent you an Instagram DM with the berry recipe!!!
@@MsSafx Sure thing! It's a mix of apple juice, frozen berries and strawberry frozen yoghurt. But, keep the ratio of frozen yoghurt to frozen berries a 3:1 ratio (we used an absurdly low amount of frozen berries). We added 250ml apple juice for a small, but I'd suggest just adding apple juice and ice until the texture is to your liking :)

Colleen Hoover...have you read any of her books Grace? Really flipping good ❤😊📚 Hayfever is exaggerated when you're pregnant it's a bummer. If I don't eat gluten or dairy it basically goes away though, inflammation I guess and gut health.
Just watched your 2020 haircut video. Just a word of wisdom, try to be careful tying your hair back so tight, especially with long hair, now you are pregnant and post pregnancy. Trust me from experience, you don't want a receding hairline. Netty Potty type nasal tube and saline salts help me for my sinus issues. My sister lives in the Netherlands and bought me one from Germany. You get nasal powered saline sachets that you add to water in the tube and flushes it out. Don't use plain water though as it strips the nasal passage bare and is painful. (i didn't let the sachet dissolve fully before using!) Something to think about your kitchen plans and wish i thought about when we self built ours was the height of the worktop counters. I'm 5'6" and find the worktop is a bit too low, even low it is at the standard height. Have you thought about raising it, have the full length wall cabinets to ceiling height and the having drawers on top of the base units, under the worktops? When starting any major refurbs, it is really important to get the ground floor layout sorted with electrics, gas, kitchen and downstairs loo (a god send - ours is connected to the house from and old outside loo). Have you been taking private bump pictures? I don't use IG of FB but bump picture updates are great memory keepsakes. I wish i took more pictures of my bump during pregnancy. It was very hot that year living in London and working in CL and the trains and tubes were unbearable with kankles and getting flat feet! Have you tried wearing a loose belt on top of the bump? I got a lovely wrap dress from that high street shop Mumma something mumma & me? It's a breast feeding dress and there are strap wraps around the boobs. Reminded me of Monsoon/ Laura Ashley but was plain purple. They had other colours. Great maternity and post maternity dress in hot weather. Anyway, hope you have a great time and T's and soft band trousers for travel ftw!

You could be having pregnancy induced rhinitis "Around 30 percent of pregnant women experience pregnancy rhinitis, making it one of the most common pregnancy symptoms. It can occur any time during pregnancy but tends to crop up between the third and seventh months, often getting worse as you near your due date."
It's not a "miracle drug", but I wear an amber necklace for chronic headaches and made one for my sister when she was pregnant (and of course for baby for teething, that's what amber necklaces are most known for). Amber contains something called succinic acid that our bodies actually produce as an anti-inflammatory which could help with cold/hay fever. Obviously I don't feel like it helps much when I have full-blown migraines or whenever I'm really sick, but it's been an amazing help on the daily and my sister felt like it helped her and baby teething as well. I know it sounds crazy, but it has seemed to work 😂
it truly doesn’t matter whether the clump of cells has dna that will evolve into testicles or ovaries lmao, i just pray you have a healthy safe pregnancy & delivery and that the baby is loved and allowed to develop its own personality and interests. just raise a good human, don’t worry about projecting society’s idea of “a boy” onto it ❤️
Boy mom is a bad thing when they get creepy about it but I absolutely do not think you'd be like that at all. I think you wouldn't make it your who personality that they are a boy or a girl. I do think there are safer antihistamines during pregnancy. They just may not be the ones you are used to taking.
