The level of production that goes into these videos is mad, sounds weird but I kinda feel like it captures what we were all imagining when we played with these cars as kids đ
Not only that, but this is actually more entertaining than watching the 1:1 scale on real tracks.

8:49 it is clear that ford landed further, the thing that counts is where was the closest point to the ramp. And the closest point of the land rover was on 20 mark, while ford was in a half from 20 mark to 25 mark

@Kaiser Nvtron 2D and 3D are the same person, or so Iâve been told by others in the comments section on previous videos.
EDITED TO ADD: Same with Chaos Canyon (another diecast racing channel). The two commentators Thom "Spanners" Watson and Frank "The Guru" Gibbs are voiced by the same guy. I know that from watching one of his behind the scenes videos he posted earlier this year.

Fall Guy was an awesome show! It was a great follow up to Lee Majors' 6 Million Dollar Man in the 70s.

I am so glad the DRC is using big off-road vehicles for a tournament. No disrespect to the rally car circuits, but this stuff is what the league needed.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe someone will mod a group and send it to them to race
I have thought a lot about this. The problem I keep running into is that suspension is a two-fold system: springs and dampers(shock absorbers). You could build with just springs, but any energy put into the springs absorbing a landing would be released and make the car keep bouncing without a damper to level out the sprin action. Add on the fact that the spring rates and damper rates would need to be fine tuned for the specific weight of the car. I really hope someone out there is able to find a way to pull this off, I would love to see how they do it.
@@daveakerscustoms1194 Sharon Tarshish here on YT made the test with a common suspension mod. Works a lot better. Of course, itÂŽs not like the suspension of a real car, but it still makes a big difference.

Maybe carry some lines from the distance markers onto the track to make it easier to determine distance when camera angle wants to make it more difficult? Actual permanent painted lines, not lines put on with the computer where you think they landed.
Fun fact....the Subaru Brat was called a Subaru Brumby in Australia. A Brumby is a wild horse down here in Oz
Technically, the Brat/Brumby/RV isn't a truck, it's a unibody ute. As a proud Brat owner I can confirm that it is kinda slow but unstoppable (380k km and counting)

@@tonyh2181 I never raced any, but I have a feeling my Matchbox Superfast 03 Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6x6 would be pretty good on the track. Long, not too high, six wheeled and heavy. It's one of my favorites.

Not sure what to think... An Unknown Stuntman reference in 2021 but Colt isn't driving a brown GMC seems almost sacrilegious.

Also it doesn't make a difference in the end but I think Norris got the bigger air in the last race. Still not enough to get the point though
They definitely used the wrong camera angle. Need to paint actual distance lines on the track so that doesn't happen again when it does make a difference.

8:52 is the better angle to judge the jump, the marking for Truck at 9:00 is way off
Agreed, they totally marked Truck Norris short. Wouldn't have been enough to earn the point this round but still was way off. Paint some distance lines ON the track so the angles aren't so deceiving!

I'd love to see a bank of 6-7 cameras for straight-on views at each marker. Price prohibitive and time consuming to edit, but... maybe next upgrade? (I can hear 3D asking if we've subscribed as members so he can afford it)

For me DRC,Rally tournament and King of the mountain is one of the best race series in this channel.
