This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

I'm more impressed by the OG GTO being that quick without HSW.
Handling is really bad on TT. Feels like turning is progressive as if you need to make 5 turns on the steering wheel to fully turn.

PC Players can do a lot more than those poor next gen players stuck at Rockstar's whim. I don't have a problem with new gen having some extra content. What I do have a problem with is Rockstar removing content for FOMO.
I will get a PS5 this winter. I've been spending a fortune on Sega Saturn stuff lately. PS5 is a much lower priority.
The MostroCiti feels like a mistake when I drive it, I love driving it... but in terms of performance stats, it feels like when R* Gave the car it's performance values they added a extra 0 at the end by mistake!

Man I did not see the Stinger TT coming on top already, but I knew it had a caveat like the Cyclone II. Still, amazing as it is, if the host decides to turn the HSW mods off, it’s back to normal with the Itali GTO being top dog(s). Much appreciated as always Broughy.

The stinger top speed gives me hope how large the GTA6 map will be
you might have to unlock the different islands like in older GTA games but instead of missions you just have to pay $50 per bridge to open
if they are total madlads they could create a generative map with todays tech advancements. one where you can basically go in the same direction for hours. in best case there would be a fixed seed in the city center, which is the same for all players. this is also where the missions would take place.
Nothing about GTA VI is true until Rockstar gives official information.
@@saferugdev8975 I don't think a GTA game would really benefit from this. Rockstars wordls have always been carefully hand-crafted and every road, street, block of houses, back-alley or forest road is different from anything else in the game.
Nothing is just a 1 to 1 copy of something else, unlike in many other open world games. A randomly generated map that generates outside of the main city basically forever would probably be cool but I don't think this fits GTA so a game like that would likely not benefit from it.

Monstrociti is so nimble and fun to drive. Worth every penny
And the short wheel base makes it ideal for doing forward rolls when offroading.
I recommend driving it while it rains on dirt roads. It's a blast!!
While I'm not the biggest fan of communities and not really into GTA 5 anymore, I'll always stay baffled by how clean your videos are and the work you put into them.

@@Sapo246 the Stinger TT's bad traction is nothing to do with flags. All cars from this update have advanced flags because there are a lot of little things those flags do that you probably don't even notice

As always, great comparisons and very useful data, it would be interesting to watch how the TT hsw would compare to jet powered land vehicles like the torero, voltic and vigilante, because in a straight that car looks like it's ripping the road
Most of the HSW cars are always faster on a straight than the rocket powered vehicles. The Vigilante is at 147mph, Oppressor 140, Scramjet 137, etc. They've already all been tested and are in their respective videos, but safe to say the TT easily drives away from all of them.

Rockstar made a major mistep with the monstrociti if you remember the fake commercials in gta iii, it was supposed to be a MASSIVE vehicle that could seat 10 and was equipped to handle arctic tundra. The fake commercial is burned into my memory from childhood. This rendition looks like a Suzuki swift.
cars often completely change from 3D era to HD era. Look at the Perennial, Jester, Alpha, Stinger, Manana, Glendale, and many more
@@Johnny362000 I like to think of the modern HD era cars as kind of like new models in this universe. Like in GTA SA for example the Perennial wa a station wagon and in 4 it's a Minivan.
Also cars like the Jester have their classic version be throwbacks to the 3D era cars, altough I still think the Infernus Classic should have been a 90's NSX like it was in SA.
@@user-bt8xr5si9y the 3D-era Perennial was american though, while the HD-era Perennial is japanese. The Jester Classic was only named as such to capitalise on SA nostalgia. If it had come out in 2013 it wouldn't have been called that. Also the Infernus was only an NSX in 1 of its 5 appearances in the 3D era. Wanting a HD-era NSX to be called "Infernus Classic" would be even more ridiculous than the Jester Classic

Jester Classic isn't the only one that is a throwback to older games. Turismo Classic being an F40 is the same as it also was an F40 in SA.
Elegy Retro Custom in 5 is a mix between R32 and R33 while also taking some design cues from the R34 so basically the same as it is in SA.
The Elegy in SA is also an R32 and R33 mix while taking some design cues from the R34.
Idk I personally really liked these throwback cars and what they did with them and the Infernus also fits this to some degree as the Infernus Classic is mostly resembling a Diablo while in VC it was a Countach so basically the earlier model.
Again I just really liked the SA Infernus and would love to see it return, even if it does have a different name.
@@user-bt8xr5si9y the difference is, while the Elegy, Infernus, and Turismo also loosely resemble their SA incarnations, their names also make sense given what their newer incarnations are. The Elegy is a GTR, the Infernus is a mid-engined V12 Lambo, the Turismo is a Ferrari halo model. The Jester is somehow both an NSX and a MkIV Supra. There's no logical reason for the Jester Classic to have its name _other_ than SA nostalgia
I haven't played for a while and only come back like every 3rd or 4th update in GTA:O. The last couple updates, especially the latest one, really made me not want to hop in again. BUT i always love watching your testing videos for some reason. I'd almost say i enjoy when my expectations about new vehicle performances are met. It's like playing bingo, oddly satisfying. xD I guess that's why i keep watching these, lol. Thank you Broughy! :)

That's definitely pretty crazy to see how insanely fast the new "Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT" looks🤯 though yeah I've heard that car is an absolute boat to drive around😂 and the new MonstroCiti definitely looks like a welcome new addition to the Off-Road class at that!👍

I'm so happy with the love R* gave the MonstroCiti. Good looks , good customisation (besides the non functioning custom fog lights and unchangeable license plate) , accurate to irl & exclusive engine bay and fast as a bat out of hell. It's the one shining light from this clusterfck of a DLC.
Good customization? It doesn't have armor plating and mines option despite being Imani Tech vehicle. Also adding custom interior will disable drive-by.

I honestly love the way the stinger tt handles. I love everything about it actually. I spent about 3 hours driving it on my personal test track the day it came out and was in love with it. I can see a lot of people complaining about the way it handles, but i like how smooth it is once you get the hang of it. Overall a very fun and challenging car to drive.
I agree. I've been whipping the stinger Double T around corners like I use to do with the S-95.
Agreed, I absolutely love the way it handles, so much so that I mentioned how brilliant the TT is in my review of the car and then Broughy's conclusion is it's not so good. I guess we all have different driving styles and expectations.

It's definitely interesting, I didn't like it on launch but it has grown on me over the past day... its strange but you can really get some good speed with it, sadly I'm on Old Gen so I can't try it with HSW but from my personal experience, I'll be picking it alot more
@@novawolf_gaming I know the feeling, I play on PC, which R* seemed to have pushed to the side and forgotten about. So HSW and even GTA+ (of which I wouldn't pay for anyways) is not an option, I think they want everyone to buy consoles, maybe they get a kickback from Sony & X/Box.

The Stinger TT seems to have much better traction with the stock spoiler, even though the stats go up when you select a custom spoiler.

The MonstroCiti is absolutely insane, I knew the stock car and HSW would be good but didn't expect it to be that good.

The HSW Itali GTO Stinger TT handles as if it’s driving on ice. (As do most of the HSW cars imho). Sure would be nice if that HSW suspension or some other HSW modification also increased traction/grip on these wildly OP cars…. Yes it would make them even more over powered, but I mean it’s pretty clear rockstar doesn’t seem to care.

Honestly, I think they might have either been upset with the modding over the years or other things prevent these things coming to PC.

I was almost 100% sure PC would get the E&E stuff in this update seeing the 1 year console exclusivity deal ended in march, but now that it didn't happen its starting to become clear that PC might never get it simply because PC platform cannot be re-monetized like console versions.
They clearly prefer current gen console users more as they need to buy game yet again and they are the target audience for GTA+ where PC crowd never need to buy game again(unless its complete remaster version)and it would be almost impossible to make them pay for GTA+ because how volatile the platform is due cheaters.
@@Winland88 Honestly I thought the same that it would come eventually but now I'm starting to think by the time PC gets E&E GTA 6 would be out. I kinda just quit gta after awhile, but I digress. But yeah that's kinda what I'm starting to think now since the files are all on the PC technically and I believe it was also rated as well. But I just wouldn't be surprised if it comes out when GTA 6 comes out. But then again I could be wrong.

If the New GTO Had the Original GTO'S Handling And Flags The Thing Would Literally Be Game & Class Breaking so i'm quite happy that they atleast balanced it's ridiculous top speed out with average handling

If a car has an active spoiler then spoiler "upgrades" do nothing, regardless of whether the active spoiler works or not

Is HSW ever coming to PC? I liked the Monstrocity regardless of performance, but it would be nice to know if I will get HSW for PC in, say, 3 months from now.

With the HSW Stinger TT having a top speed near 170mph (irl car being 199mph), it is giving me hope that the cars of GTA6 will have realistic top speeds similar to the real life cars they take inspiration from. Imagine a GP1 in GTA6 going 240mph. With the current Xbox and PlayStation’s performance, it should be possible. Keep in mind, GTAV was originally designed to run on Xbox 360 and PS3. The top speeds were limited because those old consoles couldn’t handle faster cars at 30FPS.
That's not true at all. GTA V has the top speeds it does because it makes cars easier to drive and makes the map feel bigger. Most games in this genre have cars going unrealistically slow for these reasons. While the Xbox 360 and PS3 were barely capable of running this game, the difference in hardware demand between 120 and 200mph is minimal. It's been possible through various means since day 1 to go super fast and never has it caused any performance issues

@@pedinhu18 If you get HSW for every single car in the game that literally defeats the purpose of HSW. At that point you can also just go ahead and simply increase all the speed stats for every car with an update, same effect except you don't have to spend money on it.

@@user-bt8xr5si9y nonsense, there are several cars in this game that feels better when they are slow as they currently are, but they still should have the option for HSW performance mods in case you want to make them into a sleeper builds.

I love cutting it up in gta probably the only thing keeping me on the game these days. I’ve got to a point of just full throttling the s95 on the wrong side of the highway and just weaving.
So with the new Stinger tt I’ve used it with and without it’s wing and I drive wayyyy better without it. I don’t know how it effects speed or acceleration but I swear it handles better without the wing.
it has an active spoiler, so unless by "without the wing" you mean breaking it, there's no difference in grip between stock and aftermarket spoilers

any window panel modification on the MonstroCiti that isn't stock will give the traction bonus like a spoiler
How come you don't test the off road cars on an off road track as well? I feel like the draugr would still beat the hsw monstrociti when actually off road because of the suspension and overall build of the car
because then they wouldn't be comparable with all the other times. Also testing consistently on an offroad track is easier said than done

Most HSW cars are faster than all rocket powered vehicles. Including the vigilante which is the fastest
I like to know if the stinger (hsw) gets slower if u add Imani techs armor plating.

In the real world - the Shogun EVO is a real handful.
Its a shame really that in the game they didn't give it big power for the top speed - put made it a tough beast to control. Would Have really been a crazy machine then.

Rockstar's lack of ability to "balance" their cars performance is such an annoyance. Another update where I get more upset about the addition of HSW. If ya need me, I'll be playing on my xbox 1 version of the game!
