Pussycat Dolls aren't actually a singing group. Robin just happened to have the idea to spice things up a little bit by adding singing parts. Remember the audition? She chose Nicole to be the singer. That's why she gets all the singing parts. The others are just dancers. Very good dancers.

I Must Say That they sure bring alot of energy i mean if it was some other singer they would of been lip synching after so much dancing and shaking but hats off to nicole by proving that she can sing pretty good even when she is tired and sweating and i liked nicoles solo album but not as good as the PCDs i am waiting of their next album because they havent quitted yes and i have heared about melody doing her solo thing i really like her loud voice they are awesome

Nicole and Melody are both good singers and that's a given. The reason why Melody isn't the lead doll like Nicole is because she lacks the dancing skills that Nicole has. The lead Doll has to be able to both sing and dance, which is why Nicole fits that perfectly.
