It's no secret After The Burial haven't had an easy year. The death of their guitarist Justin Lowe is without a doubt a tragedy, one that I'm sure will take time to heal. It was to my surprise to see ATB not only do a tour this year, but also release a new song. This video was filmed in NYC at Webster Hall's Studio during their current tour with The Faceless, Rings of Saturn, and Toothgrinder. Some of you might notice the fill in bass player, Lee (ATB's bass player) recently had a child and decided to sit this run out to be with his family. It's nice to see the guys in After The Burial eager to get back into it, despite the tragedy they experienced. Very excited to here the new album when it drops too! About 9 years ago I met these guys including Justin. All so nice. Anthony was so polite. He introduced himself to me and we were talking for a few minutes. A couple fan girls ran up to him and he said hi, but quickly returned to our conversation. Gives me goosebumps to remember how great they are live and also what the song and message is about.

God I love these guys. Trent is such a badass. Still writing killer riffs and songs without his longtime cowriter and friend, much respect. He's a strong soul. And a kickass shredder at that. Can anyone confirm if he's using looper live when he plays the main lick in this song and then switches to the chug part?

No looper. Just backing track. You can hear the main riff has that little bend in the note that he doesn’t seem to do when playing the same part.
