- Land Cruiser 200 water leaking into the blower motor duct and onto the front passenger floor mat. Windscreen has been replaced recently and wiring for the heater element was overhanging the fresh air intake duct. Water leaking between the wiper cowling and windscreen runs along the wiring and into the fresh air intake. Simple fix is to reposition this wire.

The Power of knowledge!!!
Thank for sharing it.
Great video!
Thanks for sharing.
100 series did this too.
Thank you I have this problem and I have a genuine windscreen
How old is the car?

It’s possible that the wiring has been incorrectly routed at the factory.
@@nunawadingtoyota8134 thanks when I get a chance I will have a look
I recently found rain water in the drivers side footwell (captured by deep floor mats) and have an original windscreen. I’ve yet to inspect the wiring/connector position but is this the cause if the water is found on the drivers side? Car is 2018 GXL (no sunroof) and no roof backbone. Any guidance welcome!
I recently found rain water in the drivers side footwell (captured by deep floor mats) and have an original windscreen that’s never been replaced in a 2018 GXL (i.e no sunroof) and no aftermarket roof backbone. I’ve yet to inspect the wiring/connector (if fitted) but would this be the cause for water in the drivers footwell? In this video you are indicating that the drains at either end of the windscreen cowl should be clear - if not I guess the water doesn’t go where it’s meant to and could end up in the drivers footwell? Any guidance appreciated!
Great video! Question - why is the heating element not connected?
Heating element is provided on all the windscreens. It is mainly used in markets that experience cold climate and that is the reason it is not connected on this Australian market windscreen. Having said that, we have not had a chance to confirm whether the LC200 Sahara, being the top of the range, has the heater element connected.
Ah.. makes sense. Great channel!
Thanks 🙂
Did you need to replace the pins in the connectors?
