- Today I'm telling the story of a Wood Carving Master in Jamaica. He's been carving for 50 years and selling at the same market in the Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Wherever I travel in the world I am blown away by Artisans, Musicians, and Chefs who tell the story of the places they live, through their art.
Most people don't realize how much hard work and dedication is required to make these pieces.

Wow this was so different from your usual content and I loved it. The storytelling is off the charts and I'm really enjoying this new direction of highlighting stories and local people. Its such a touching story about the Carver and also the basket weaver. Its so tough out there for working class people and we need to be supporting and helping locals! The story of this man is amazing and inspiring, and 50 years? I can only imagine how many hours he's spent perfecting his craft, compared to some machine carved piece that has no soul to it. What a great video david!

The market is filled with Chinese made souvenirs. They steer the tourist to the stores in the Main Street and when you look at the tag. Made in China. Shameful
