Because the i5-12500H and the i7-12700H both have VERY similar single-core clock speeds you'll find that the difference between the two is nominal. I will say if there is a big difference it will be in After Effects where multicore functionality is most utilized.

Just got the Omen 17 w/ 12700h and 3070Ti, have chrome, cad, excel, spotify and outlook open at the same time, all the time. 3070Ti was probably overkill but it's a great laptop.
Is this applicable for all 12700 and 12500 laptops? Or does it depend on the laptop brand/model you buy

I'm getting confused by HP chassis now...how come the ones on their website with 12th Gen CPUs have some of the ports on the back with an extra heat sink fin array on the left side? On the 16in at least, the 17in still has them all on the sides. Still here's a 16in without any rear ports.

I want to buy the omen but i dont want it if the screen shakes a lot when i tuch it. So i want to ask how bad is it?
If you'll notice, Ben brushed it a couple times with his hand and it wobbled like Jell-O. I wouldn't have it.
also the 17 inch omen that has the 12800hx is worth the step up, if it's the same price( I got my omen 17 12800hx for 1399 because of student discount)

@@Saito9IV there is alot difference bro in gaming aslo by alot like in valorant i7 11th gen gives 160-200 fps in 1080p High setting while i7 12th gen gives 300-400 fps in same settings and in AAA game difference will be 6-20 fps on max settings

@tsliwins I guess you're asking if the USB-C port outputs to HDMI. The answer is yes, only if you're using a single USB-C to HDMI cable extension. If you want to use a docking station (with different ports, including a video ones), the answer is no - it doesn't support chaining. I know because I'm just sending back to the seller the Victus laptop

If this guy was comparing both same laptops with exact same ports, etc. Just on difference to eachother. Then it'd be a fair comparsion. But this video is way out of correction.
Ports, Screen, and built are two different things. Plus the bios and other internal ability are also largely different. So you are not likely to get similar to correct pin down performance details with 2 whole different laptops.

General idea. Is go with a laptop that fits your needs, design choices, and ports you want.
