Jinx is one of my favourite characters of all fiction, comic, manga and film. Her role in the Netflix Series - Arcane was amazing! And I am always happy to create art around her character. Perhaps we can do more from her League of Legends character in the future.

The thing I hate about Ohuhu is the markers are just dumped into their bags without any kind of organization.
I'd say if that was the biggest issue then you have a really good set of markers.
haha I can understand. I think it's a small price to pay, for the small price we pay though. I mean, we have to give them at least ONE negative lol
That's my favorite thing about them! I get so fixated in putting my markers/colored pencils in the exact same spot that when I use them I only take one out at a time and put it back in place. It's a waste of time. With Ohuhu I'm free of that!
I would be OK to organize them myself... if they stayed in place after that.
But they don't! And I hate that.
Because the caps aren't really matching the actual ink color (another negative), I made a swatch sheet. When I pick a color from the swatches, it would be great to have the markers organized in the same position as they are on my sheet.
It would be great if they had some plastic grid in the bottom that would hold the markers in place. And if it was removable, people who want to be unorganized could remove them.
Honestly I disagree...they have the papers for colouring in so You know what they really look like. When I fill those out I also organise the bag. simple as that

I like the softness and colour variety of the Ohuhu markers and, despite the difficulties you encountered on the Sharpie side, i think the high contrast, cel-shaded look works really well in my opinion.

This episode reminds me of when you did Cheap vs. Expensive way back when for Wonder Woman and the Sharpies didn't have a flesh tone, so you had to use pink and she ended up looking sunburnt. And though a similar problem happened here with you being forced to use the pink/orange Sharpie, I find that I like the use of a weird/more vibrant skin color makes a piece really pop and stand out. So, sure, the Sharpies didn't do well, but I think it actually worked to your benefit. great work always ADC!

i used to use sharpies when i was starting, honestly if anyone is looking for a gift, a small set of skintone markers is a GOD SEND to younger artists/begginers.
Literally the biggest issue with 'cheap' supplies, are the skin pallet. The focus on vibrant tones hurts the sets. There's no variety for different skins which really limits our expression

So funny, I bought just this pack of 320 ohuhu with chisel & brush this week with the black friday discount! I think it's the win combination too. And about the cheap markers, I have to say that I have them too, and yes, the first set was half of them dry, but I ask for a change and the 2nd set work well and I'm not that dissapointed with them, in fact, apart from the reds that are all similar, I like the range of colors, and they can blend. Also I have to say that I usually use the cheap ones for the mandalas and so, and the ohuhu for professional drawings.

Awesome vid as always mate, what waterbased marker would you recommend to buy for younger kids that you don’t really want to give alcohols markers, I’ve got a 6 year old who’s obsessed with art and colouring and as an artist my self I’m a bit paranoid about giving him art supplies that destroy the experience and can kill his passion.

I love my ohuhu markers. I use them on every artwork i do. I really love jinx. She's so pretty and i think the blending of the ohuhu really brings out the colors of her features like her blue hair. Though i think the colors are a bit too vibrant as the show is kinda grim and the colors are darker.
I absolutely love her though.

I'm experienced with pencils and gouache but want to try the ohuhus so bad. What do you think is the smallest set that has enough shades for easy blending for skin, and realism in general?
I suggest the 100 set or the 120 if you want a brush tip.

Smell aside, i like learning on Sharpie markers. Just take lots of breaks for fresh air.
i do think that the ohuhu side looks a lot better-aside from the blending issue. the ohuhu's colours just match the original so much better. though i do have to say, ohuhu sounds like you're not sure if you need to sneeze or cough. or maybe like you're yawning and sneezing at the same time

You can use "smoother" (superlative adjective) or "even more smoothly" (comparative adverb) but you cannot mix the two.

I’ve had trouble with the strong scent of Ohuhu’s. My family complained about it even, haha. They’re worth it, though.
Adc just give Ohuhu their crown they will slay almost any marker at this point 😅.

The content hasn't changed, The series are the same, some times a sponsor supports my livlihood, and they get a video feature.
But I'm careful to keep content the SAME and no Bias.
All content is an ad, either for a creator themselves, or a brand support.
content is not the same, you spend 7 out of 10 minutes of the video praising the 300USD 320 piece product that you got for free and then you whine for 4 minutes the 20USD sharpie pack of 30 for lacking the skin color
and its absolutely the same video that you did last week with different artwork
For the next one at least pick the same number of markers,..... Its like comparing how fast can 320 men construction crew build a house compared to 30 Mexican food truck burger flippers.

I'll have to disagree on a couple points..
First - I spent only 2 minutes showcasing the sponsor of today's video (Ohuhu) during the art vs 5 minutes for the other (Sharpie)
"20USD Sharpie pack of 30", "Next one pick the same number of markers" - Sharpie doesn't have an extensive range of colours. My comparison is not of the total brand, it's of what we have available, hence why I limited Ohuhu to ONE set. If Sharpie had a 300 set I'd use that. Unfortunately, those without the knowledge of art markers, may make poor decisions, financial choices, if not provided the information I'm attempting to give.
"Same video that you did last week" - Relatively, yes. This is a series comparing markers for people wishing to learn and make educated choices. This isn't to say what YOU should buy. It's showcasing their strengths/weaknesses then giving my personal opinion. Sharpie were praised and I explained why I'd choose them in situations.
I've said many times, watch the ENTIRE video, and make YOUR decision. Never look at the final product and choose. Your style may be different to mine.

U should make some art installation with markers u "dislike". Would make a fun reaction video of you letting u anger released to ur half empthy markers. Sure there would be few creator that would love to collab with you on it. Creating a monumental art piece while desteoying them into it. And maybe action the marker installation to good cause or mental health program. 😂

the only thing ohuhu does worse than copic is the lid colour. the colour of those ohuhu lids are sooo inacurate, and ohuhu knows that.
Can’t you try to work with winsor and Newton and make them do more colors of their brush markers?
I have tried to contact before. It would be great for them to expand the Brush range! I think for now, using my 'Grey method' is the only solution to the limited pallet. (Check my livestream video for that)
@@ADCArtAttack i wrote to them some months ago and said they should expand their brush collection and that they should work with you :D i have some special markers. I have taken the brushmarker blender. Emptied it on alcohol and filled it with ink from Spectrum noir. They have some really good blue colors. That way i got some more colors with the same good brush and flow as the others. (Spectrum noir illustrator just feel too dry)
it's weird, I love my ohuhu markers, but I almost never use them. they just aren't commonly used in my artworks unless I explicitly make a piece meant for using them.
