Ty for the details. Been trying the Regular Bow and its working pretty good and also cheap, so doesnt feel that bad to lose it
Hey Tote Torres, could you help me out? What would be a good 4.1 weapon for 1vx mist? I'd like some mobility as a solo weapon and the agency to engage and disengage. Bloodletter feels suitable but at 4.1 I feel severely underpowered against most matchups and a proper build is too expensive with the cape and all. Dual sword seems fine too but not crazy about straight brawling overall. Tried frost 1h and it was fun to kite but didn't feel much agency. I'm basically trying to make my mind up between a lot of options, like deathgivers, 1h dagger, bloodetter, bows, carving sword and some others. Particularly not into fire staves, quarter staves, hammers, arcane or shapeshifting.
Would love some insight from you on this
Here’s my take on your options:
Bloodletter: It’s got awesome mobility and that execute potential, but yeah, it can feel a bit weak in 4.1 gear. Still, it’s solid for hit-and-run tactics.
Dual Swords: Decent mobility and AoE damage, but it does lean more towards straight-up brawling, which might not be ideal for 1vx situations.
1H Frost: Great for kiting, but it might lack the burst you need to secure kills quickly.
Deathgivers: Pretty strong for 1vx with their mobility and burst damage, though they do require some skill and practice to master. They can be pricey to gear up properly.
1H Dagger: Strong single-target burst and some mobility, but you might struggle against multiple opponents without the right defenses.
Bows: Regular Bow or Whispering Bow can be great for kiting and sustained damage. Whispering Bow’s E ability helps keep distance, but positioning is key.
Carving Sword: A good mix of mobility, damage, and durability. The E ability provides a gap closer and armor shred, making it a strong contender for 1vx.
Given your preferences and concerns about cost and survivability, I’d recommend trying the Carving Sword. It’s got a nice balance of everything you need for engaging and disengaging in the mists.

hey hello tote, i was wandering what would you recomand for small scale pvp ? like for roads and bz roaming
Badon and longbow. Preferably longbow but honestly NONE bows are in a very bad spot atm
i guess Explosive arrows doesn't work with mistpiercer E , the explosive arrows works if your spell has physical damage i guess
It has to be direct hit, therefore it does work and you SHOULD DEF use it on mistpiercer! this is on ZvZ content if you choose to take it on something else then I don't recommend you using the explosive arrows
@@ToteTorres69 may be its true but i have used mistpiercer in 100s of zvzs and small scales never seen explosive arrows proc on E and even in your demonstration you can see even after using all the E phases you still had 10 explosive arrows remaining below your name but the explosive arrows were consumed in case of whispering bow ._. may be i am wrong idk xd
Just tested the whispering bow with the hellion hood. Sadly the magical damage of E will be "Silenced" by the hood. Activiting the hood will cause the bow to do only the base physics damage.
Make sure to use the E before the helmet and that's it. 16:45
@@ToteTorres69 Yep I activated E first and the bow deals high damage on the training dummy. If I then activate the hood(while E is still active), the additional magical damage granted by E disappeared. The damage value can be seen on the dummy. Could you please test this again? The damage display I saw was different from yours. Maybe this was recently patched.
Hey i play awakening bow. What are the best traits ? I have defense,auto atk speed, and item power.
Depends on the bow, Max health always for any PVP focused content, for whispering bow you want range and atk speed + Max health, for badon you want, Ability dmg, max health and CD etc.. etc. it depends on the bow

started a couple of days ago and like the idea of playing however you want and really want to play bow, but from everything im finding it sounds like they are terrible and have been for a LONG time... so not much hope for a change. Will give the vid a watch, but should i be saving myself a headache and learn to enjoy something else?
post watching the video, which bow while doing other pve activities like gathering - longbow I would think from the vid
WARBOW, is the best for chill gathering and solo content overall, after that the badon, then longbow, hope you enjoyed it!
@@ToteTorres69 Thanks. It's a good video - although even just a couple of hours in bow feels pretty terrible compared to curse staff or nature staff that ive tried so far :(
Yeah, sadly thats the case :C you have to literally force yourself to like it
Bows need a rework or some love.
They doo, it feels like you CANT make mistakes with them
