'Life Is Incredible' Lyrics:
[Pre-Chorus (Extended): Briggs (Greg Holden)]
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, get it
I just pay my way out
[Chorus 1 (Condensed): Greg Holden (Briggs)]
This is a miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh (Yeah)
Yeah, my life is incredible (Whoa)
Miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible
[Verse 1: Briggs]
Ooh, don't be jealous (Don't be jealous), golf with the fellas
Whatever the weather we got drinks with umbrellas
You got tomna wine, I keep them down in the cellar
We got time to shine, I grew that shit at Coachella
Formal brunches and lunches (Woo), lunges and crunches
Livin' life in abundance, not really worried 'bout nothin' (What for?)
Then I pull up, hop out, wave at that cop now
Stop sign, ran that, oh, that fine? That's not ours
[Pre-Chorus (Condensed): Briggs (Greg Holden)]
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out
[Chorus 1: Greg Holden (Briggs)]
This is a miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible
Miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible (Okay)
Oh (Okay), oh (Oh)
My life is incredible
Miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible
[Post-Chorus 1: Briggs & Greg Holden]
Man, it's okay to be opaque (It's okay)
Man, it's okay to be opaque (To be opaque)
Man, it's okay to be opaque (It's okay)
Man, it's okay to be opaque (To be opaque)
[Verse 2: Briggs]
Ooh, you got your girl a new handbag
Ooh, I'm living like I got my land back
I got them Tim Tam's and Bintang's
Shoeys and skid pants
Very vocal [?] I tell them all my big plans, on how we
Head to Bali, smoking cuban cigars
And we fuck up the party like acoustic guitars
[Pre-Chorus: Briggs (Greg Holden)]
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out
Man, fuck what they say now (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
I just pay my way out, I just pay my way out
[Chorus 2: Greg Holden (Briggs)]
This is a miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible
Miracle, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Yeah, my life is incredible
Oh, oh
Yeah, bein' white is incredible
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Yeah, bein' white is incredible (Plot twist!)
Oh, oh
Yeah, bein' white is incredible
[Post-Chorus 2: Greg Holden & Briggs]
It's okay (Bein' white is incredible) (It's okay)
To be opaque (Oh) (Yeah, [?] it's okay)
It's okay (Bein' white is incredible) (It's okay)
To be opaque (It's okay, it's lit)
Oh, oh (Whoa, whoa)
[Outro: Greg Holden & Briggs]
Post Malone is incredible (Above ground pools)
Farmers markets are incredible (Whole Foods)
Eminem is incredible (Just lose yourself)
Macklemore is incredible (I guess)
Coachella's incredible (Ha ha)
Craft beer is incredible (*Laughs*)

this is such a catchy song with a very important message. Greg Holden killed it and "I'm living like i got my land back" is a great bar

PLOT TWIST!
243 people thought the the thumbs down was the download button! Incred!
Love the vibe
It's ok to be opaque. F*****g gold.
🔥🔥🔥
We all bleed red 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤❤️🧡💛💚💜💙
The plot twist kills me everytime - INCREDIBLE
Do you actually know what a plot twist is? Seems to me like this bigoted alleged "performance" ends the way it started. But I'm prepared to be educated about "art" so argue me wrong … I confess, ahead of accusation by sensitive indiges, that my understanding of the merit of the "art" here might indicate I'm not a pretend ancient person, but endeavouring in your response to overcome your bigotry would be welcomed as polite.
@@macdundas what?
@@macdundas What the actual fuck was that? I would "argue you wrong" all day long if I thought you had even the slightest chance of catching a clue... but, I don't have that much faith in you. You're what I'd call a "pretend smart person", you know the type, regurgitate a dictionary in no particular order and expect us all to applaud. No real point, but a very clear agenda, throw barbs, belittle people and throw in some extra syllables to try and hide your hate... I feel for you little man, it's gotta suck balls to carry all that around with you. Maybe check out what Blair Cottrell is up to these days, you might get some love over there...
this reminds of... you know where. love you bro, we had some good times together. just keep them on the hush brother.
Your friend,
Jeff
Amazing
yeeeeeeeeeees!
Yeah my bra...😎Rollie from brissie another madd murri
Deadly brother
wow. just wow.
When are we getting more Briggs content?
Man. I love this guy. Serious skills, serious solution to hard undeserved situations. I hope he doesn't die young.
It's TOO LATE for him to die young. If your comment is a measure of your understanding of just about anything, you are fucked - I put it in terms that might be understood by your good self and are used in the video by your hero … and hope my own comment meets youtube standards whatever they are :-)
This stuff is cutting edge ... kek
Yep, incredible)
Genius video
I love it
DYING

What's the message?
Listen again for clarity Solar
@@QueenslandSolar the message is "blame white people for all of our problems so we can relieve ourselves of responsibility for our own actions."
Here because of FBI radio. Awesome
Living like I got my land back yep.yep.
Mickey O, too good aha
Last time I played Briggs this loud, the cops came round. I kid you not.

A little more clapstick and i could dig this. It's the coloniser in me, its not my fault. - jimblah 2019
Aye bro did you film in the same place the powerball add was filmed

Was this filmed in the powerball add place
Mate this is dope
No one listens to Briggs but the Abc and shit act like he is one of the big names in aus hip hop its hilarious
Craft beer jahahaha
I really don't understand the message behind this song??
Great game last night by the way
Lol, league fucktard.
The message behind the song is that Aboriginal people should retire by about 40 as their life expectancy is so much shorter so that they get to spend those 10-20 quality years in a retirement home. No-one in the film clip is fazed by young aboriginal people dying is a mirror to our own society's lack of action on the issue.
@@AndyFNQ84 so how do we stop them dying earlier?
This Aboriginal had no problems living over 110! That's some good genes!
www.sbs.com.au/nitv/nitv-news/article/2017/02/01/life-well-lived-meet-australias-oldest-aboriginal-man
@@QueenslandSolar That's the million dollar question isin't it? Probs start is actually making it more of a major issue. But particularly in regional and remote communities it would be about getting more serious about delivering services.
You should make a clip of the first fleet arriving in australia...that would be awesome.....
Yeh I dont get the msg in this song unless its just everyone is okay and incredible lol
The message is blackfullas die younger than white people so blackfullas should retire earlier and enjoy the twilight prime. And it also takes a piss at Pauline when she said "It's okay to be white" the lyrics in this song is it's okay to be opaque. The ultimate form of white privilege is living longer
@@shaquaniadennis5102 I get the black fellas dying early part but only cause of the visuals. I just dont get it in the lyrics tho.. but thanks for clarifying that opaque i get that now haha tx
Life is beautiful live, learn, laugh 😉but don’t be ignorant and take it for granted always work on self and set high personal standards ✌️❤️
Almost as good as Macklemore.. Swarmy
Micky olaughlin ❤️💛🖤
Love it, i feel like the white guy with the guitar (except i cant play one) . Good comment on the early "drop off" rate of Aboriginal people :(
Omg IM FRIENDS WITH THE GIRL WHO MADE THAT AVATAR
The man the myth
I can see why people lov n not lov Briggs. He just wants a level playing field but that equality threatens the people in power because they know the hungrier competition will win in every domain.
an abo with 2 shoes wow
Having a decent hairline is incredible
Fraser Anning just made this his campaign soundtrack.
Dumb
firecrakka FAs and his followers are so dumb they might.
@@nordic5490 Exactly my point. 😉
Sorry for how long it took.
Never was, Never will be. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves and grow up and take action
How do you mean never was, never will be?
Get screwed briggs
Get fucked james
Richard Herring's let himself go.
Wombat- zombie. Check it out, some real quality Aussie hip hop
wombat is definitly does not do hip hip he does Drill and grime you sped
DAZZA Eustace good one , no offence , your obviously dumb as a doornail.
Are you implying that those two styles of hip hop you described aren't hip hop. Interesting.
Thanks for the hard edge truth in your humour Briggs! That perfect balance is hard to get right, to put awful truths in comedy, or in ways white fragility can hear.
I think I have tried and failed to get that balance right. I hope I haven't caused offence with my past comments, it wasn't my intention, and if I have, I'm sorry. The reply silence tells me I clearly still have so much to learn.
State of origin brought me here
You must be deaf
matthew guttenbeil what’s that supposed to mean
This came on the radio and when I heard "being white is incredible" my brain had a melt down! Are you allowed to say that!? Great song, great clip, thought provoking!
Meltdown? Jesus... sensitive much? No one would care if it was "Black is incredible" or "Brown is incredible" but it is a disgrace to say White is incredible? Why is it considered bad to be proud to be white?
@@J0sho495 hey, us white people have done terrible things and we should feel ashamed for it. greetings from Tel Aviv Israel, fellow white man. Love this song and message. Love it!
'Whatcha doing Briggs?'
'Indigenous rebellion'
Me, a middle class white person, 'Fuck yeah, stick it to the white people.'
The post Malone line fucked me up haha
bruj what is the message
The worst pre games entertainment ever
liam Fox strongly agree. It was fucking embarrassing
Yep pretty sad and phoned In. Good game though
"Mum can we have pre games entertainment?"
Mum: "we have pre games entertainment at home"
Pre games entertainment: this
liam Fox ... fuck you
Nah. Easily the BEST!
I dont get it
White people are even more privileged than aborigines because they have a higher life expectancy
@@OlGregge Higher birth mortality rates, propensity for violence, drugs and alcohol, and lower quality health care contribute to a life expectancy that is 10 years lower than non indigenous Australian's
super super super whack
Professional victim right here 😂😂😂
Jefferson Steelflex do you know anything about him?
Three emojis Jefferson.. Clever cookie aren’t ya
You must be some kind of magician with words like that Merlin. Clever bloody rascal aren’t ya
It's okay to be pale......😐 Love your work briggs, fav song at the moment has so much meaning behind it. ✊👌
Social justice blues
I don't get it
Its basically having a crack at White Superiority
And a comment on the fact that life expectancy for Aboriginal people in Australia is about half that of our white counterparts.
@@lilpixines correct
2nd Account as much as I love it (white, but thinks racism is for dumb arses), the message will be lost on many whithout knowing the backstory. Early days yet.
@@lilpixines that's just flat out bullshit mate, their life expectancy is NOT half the national average, it's a few years lower because aboriginal Australians per capita have much higher rates of alcoholism, drug abuse and obesity. Stop feeding into this victimhood bullshit
What were the life expectancy’s of aboriginal people before white people came? Was it the same or better does anyone know? White people were most likely introduced to cancers/illnesses long before the aboriginal people were our genes were most likely built up for that sort of thing, and the statistics are showing a small percentage of the Australian population to say that our life expectancies are better is only better because they are counting more people to have a higher average. Instead of making racist songs use your energy in a different way. Everyone already knows the problems using songs like these will just further the gap between white and aboriginal doing more harm than good
Alex, when I went to school I got taught that colonial rubbish too. It's the nice story people told their children so their children would think better of them. It makes for an awkward kindergarten story to tell children that the first settlers drove aboriginal people off cliffs at stockyard point, slaughtered them with army regiments armed with muskets on Richmond Hill, or stood aside and did little enough to prevent the massacres from continuing, or the policies of colonialism and genocide from continuing even to this day. People do need to wake up from the rubbish colonial fairy tale we were taught was our history.
Truth can be hard to hear, and it can set you free. The weight of shame weighs on this country, on us all in some way, and trying to deny it more makes it heavier.
There are some books you could consider reading. Bruce Pascoe - dark Emu, then Bruce Pascoe - Salt. Or try six Australian battlefields.
That colonial story about genes and diseases is a cover story for shame. Dutch people had contact with indigenous people. Mapped the WA coast and went down to van Diemen's land, later renamed Tasmania. Spanish people made contact. The mocassin traders from Indonesia and Asia had regular contact with aboriginal people in northern Australia. There was plenty of contact for disease to pass to indigenous people. Yet their population remained strong.
I think many people would prefer to believe that largest impact on aboriginal people was disease. That disease, is dis - ease or the uncomfortable feeling that people's white ancestors murdered women, children and old people and tried to explain away their shame. It's time for a bit less dis-ease and a lot more truth, no matter how awful, or shameful, let's all gather what it takes to face this properly.
