- What makes the Impressionism art movement one of the most influential and popular movements in art history? In this video, I explain 5 Impressionism art characteristics that will help you understand what makes these paintings so captivating.
Once you understand these characteristics, you’ll be able to more easily identify an Impressionist painting. When you walk into that Impressionist gallery at art museums, you’ll know what it is that gives you those good vibes. From Claude Monet, to Renoir, to Degas, to Pissaro, these Impressionist artists did something spectacular and watching this video is a great introduction into their world of art.
