      Have you tried setting your dial to ‘custom’ and the selecting the washi tape setting? I find that to be helpful with small cuts.

    • @amycreates1075
      @amycreates1075  Před 3 lety

      Sometimes Cricut has some funky issues. Maybe try clearing the cache and trying again since it worked once it should be good to go. :)

    Can you make this a draw file for design space? I want to draw it onto recipe cards.

    • @amycreates1075
      @amycreates1075  Před 3 lety +1

      You could use printable vinyl for the recipe cards. Print the recipe off on the vinyl and then place the vinyl on the card.

    I was able to use this and follow the steps and it worked BUT my Grandma used paper with lines on it, and I still have the lines on the cut file - how would I remove those?

    • @donnalongo1848
      @donnalongo1848 Před 3 lety

      I was wondering if anybody else's grandmas wrote recipe on lines paper, That's the first thing I noticed when I looked at my grandmother's recipes, and I see nobody answered you about it so I'll have to Google it and see how to get rid of those lines
      Did you end up making the project?

      I tried a different route, and the Saving of the SVG is not supported.

    • @amycreates1075
      @amycreates1075  Před 3 lety

      I made this video before Inkscape did a program update. If your image is too light, you could trace over it with a pen to darken it and then try the tracing/converting steps in Inkscape. Also, make you sure you save the svg file in inkscape as a "plain svg" not the "inkscape svg". If it's saved wrong, it will produce the error message when its pulled into other design programs.

      Hmm I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be working! If Inkscape isn’t working right have you tried background remover website (www.remove.bg) I’ve had success using this site too with removing some backgrounds.
