Nice that, keeping busy on the lockdown 😁. Was watching one of his the other day with two long bows joined.👍
Hope you all keeping safe and well.
Cheers Mike. We're well thanks, hope you are too.
Jake, you've been in lockdown too long. LOL! (It is pretty neat though!)
Yes, this was just a side project. It's great fun to shoot though. Stay well .
She turned out nice! I see your friend has ordered the Ender 3. Do you have a recommendation beyond that model?... Thanks!
If I may answer - the original Prusa Mk.3s, of course. This is my Legolini i.imgur.com/tebe5em.jpg - not yet finished, the bolts just arrived today and I'm still waiting for the springs.
Thanks.I couldn`t really say,I`m not familiar with other models.
@@cmdrashnak3525 ok, I'm jealous! Haha... Nice man. Hey, can files used to print be used to make blueprints of the parts you make? I've done several slingbows and rifles. Would like to hand craft a Legolas... Thanks for sharing!
@@JakeBullit123 A lot of the others are copies of the Prusa Mk.3. Josef releases the full design as public domain, so anybody can build (and sell) a copy. The original is more expensive than the chinese copies - but according to all I've read also much better documented and supported with software.
@@dougmcpheters1546 Converting stl to blueprints... I've only ever seen blueprints from afar, so I wouldn't know what goes into them in detail. But Fusion 360 (3d CAD software from Autodesk, free license for personal use available) has a few options to help you create cross sections from stl models ("fit curves to mesh section" in the sketch submenu). Jaaanik (the guy who did the design) also has a very comprehensive set of build instructions (73 pages, with lots of pictures) in the files on thingiverse.
the files got removed from thingiverse, probably bc its a functional weapon, maybe you could upload it to another website?
Somebody have made a website for this legolini. The files are available there legolini.com/
@@saptomsc That is the same guy who had it on thingverse

Thanks for the video. I needed to show my niece that this little crossbow is safe for her 12-year-old son. and aiming at a box with a target on it should calm her any doubts about how dangerous it is.
BTW. Could you tell me the name of those crossbow bolts you use with the plastic body and metal heads.
Thanks.
I wouldn`t say it was safe without supervision, the bolts can still penetrate a fair way.The ones I used were similar to these www.amazon.co.uk/6-5-Plastic-Pistol-Crossbow-Bolts/dp/B00HDL3KZG/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=6+inch+pistol+bolts&qid=1608029687&sr=8-2
@@JakeBullit123 I agree. I was thinking that the metal headed bolts were something I could use and for her son, I can print out as many blunted PLA+ bolts as he needed.
Thank you for your reply. I downloaded as much information as I could before today from legolini.com but didn't see any reference to a retail source for bolts.
Have you tried the Quick loader yet ???
No not yet.
6 shots in 10 seconds.
cool
