The "Olivia" flower has been named after Olivia Fletcher; the lovely lady behind the Random Acts of Crochet Kindness project - you can learn more about it here: czcams.com/video/1xeT9aFT6ws/video.html

My sister and I made a bunch of these last year to place in the grave of our beloved cat samuel. It happened quickly and we were racing to find something to make it meaningful and less rapidly put together. This tutorial was concise, easy to follow even for a child with no previous crochet experience, and easy to understand even through tears! Today I am making even more for my lovely cat rosie who is passing later today, and I think making a bouquet of Olivia flowers will become a tradition for my family from now on. Thank you for making this lovely tutorial, it took our minds off our grief for a time and made sure our babies were buried with proof they were loved ❤

This is THE PRETTIEST crochet flower I've ever seen!!! And YOU are, hands down, my ABSOLUTE favorite you-tube-torialist of all time - and on ANY subject!
If they ever come up with some kind of youtube awards, like The Grammy's or Oscar's?! Lol. I will definitely nominate you!
Besides being THE best at teaching/showing how its done, you actually brighten my days which means a lot as I am homebound dealing with health issues and chronic pain. Crochet has become my #1 coping mechanism.
I enjoy your voice and energy so much that sometimes when I'm crocheting something that i don't need to follow a video to be able to do, I will just let your videos play one after another in the background. Wayyy better than watching TV!!!
I truly appreciate that you allow your kind, helpful & playful spirit come through in your tutorials! You are a breath of fresh air!!!💜💜💜

Just wanted to share my experience with this incredible pattern that is by now engraved in me brain. 😂 I made a Sunflower one of a black core with deep yellow petals, but my absolute favorite is a Water Lily: i made a solid dark green foundation and placed another one on top of it. The top part is of a yellow core with white petals. It looks incredible!!!😍 Thank you again and again, Robin! I have not been able to stop experimenting with various colours of the core and petals, my garden is growing, but not for long. All these beautiful flowers will be given away soon!💐🌺🌹🌷🌼🌻🌸💖💖💖

Hi, I have already commented on this great video, and have just finished my 6th flower! I have found it easier to leave the magic circle slightly looser rather than straight away drawing it completely tight. It's easier to see the next chain to start the petals each time. At the end of the 6, slipstitch into first petal's chain, and finish, then tighten the inner circle right up. It's working well for me doing this.

Yours was so easy & clear to follow. I had never done Tunisian crochet & you explained in a simple clear way. I made a 6 petal & 5 petal flower. Tip: if its hard to squeeze in 7 trebles in the one stitch try going in to the middle of the stitch every time you start a new treble.

I really love this little flower and I have to stop putting if off and try it. I wanted something easy because I haven't crocheted in years. I'm going to have to use my 100% cotton yarns because I have a lot of it right now.

I made these and they are beautiful. I stopped making them and went to make some other ones. Honestly I came back because I like the size and how quick they are. Beautiful to also. So thanks for sharing your video I am going to make a skirt with them.

I am really determined but none of my colors are truly the same. I know what I want to do but I just don’t have vision.
