Well done!! And I could actually follow that! AMAZING! So far, I haven't been able to follow a written pattern - in crochet or sewing (though I could freehand some fairly complicated stuff. Would what you wrote out here be considered as a "written pattern?"
@@RoseA.Dewine some parts but overall probably no because written patterens use the terms more but i used the words instead and ty i tried to make it easy to follow for all ages
My sister and I made a bunch of these last year to place in the grave of our beloved cat samuel. It happened quickly and we were racing to find something to make it meaningful and less rapidly put together. This tutorial was concise, easy to follow even for a child with no previous crochet experience, and easy to understand even through tears! Today I am making even more for my lovely cat rosie who is passing later today, and I think making a bouquet of Olivia flowers will become a tradition for my family from now on. Thank you for making this lovely tutorial, it took our minds off our grief for a time and made sure our babies were buried with proof they were loved ❤

This is the prettiest flower I have ever crocheted and I'm crocheting since I'm 12 years old and I'm 56. Thank you I love this I'm doing several in different colors for a spring hat to put on my front door for spring n summer. Thanks so much.
I've only been crocheting for about a month. I made a bag that simply needs a pretty flower, wanted to buy it since I was worried I won't be able to make one. This tutorial was easy to follow, now I have made flower on my bag. Thank you
Just wanted to share my experience with this incredible pattern that is by now engraved in me brain. 😂 I made a Sunflower one of a black core with deep yellow petals, but my absolute favorite is a Water Lily: i made a solid dark green foundation and placed another one on top of it. The top part is of a yellow core with white petals. It looks incredible!!!😍 Thank you again and again, Robin! I have not been able to stop experimenting with various colours of the core and petals, my garden is growing, but not for long. All these beautiful flowers will be given away soon!💐🌺🌹🌷🌼🌻🌸💖💖💖
What a blast! I was scrambling through my stash to find a thin cotton to covers holes in t-shirt with your flower and found a bright multicolour that is just the cutest thing ever! Thanks Robin!
I LOVE this beautiful flower! It looks complicated but it isn’t-your instructions are so easy to follow. This may be my most favorite crocheted flower EVER!🥰❤️ Thank you.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial. I'm a beginner and only crochet for about a month now. And I just made two beautiful flowers. Probably will make a third by then I'll know the pattern by heart. So easy once you get it haha.
Hi, and thanks for sharing this tutorial. It's so easy to follow, and listening to you as you go really helps. Nice to know where the Olivia name came from, and a lovely tribute. I have just completed 2 of these neat flowers, and did them all white, so now need 8 more for my current project. They look beautiful.
A flower to make with my daughter Olivia. I’m trying to teach her to crochet, she is only 8 but is already making chains and single crochets. She wants to make flowers now. Here we go! Thank you so much for all your tutorials. I love the crochet and knit community on CZcams.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I tried so many two color flower patterns and was ready to give up. And while mine only came out with 5 petals, I am so excited to have a completed two color flower project.
Robin, I just wanted to thank you for your quality videos. I haven't picked up my hooks in probably 2 years, and I was still a novice the last time I did a project, but thanks to your amazing content and clarity I am about to completely a fully crocheted "hipster" bag for my daughter. I was able to pick my skills back up and master new ones very quickly thanks to you. Thank you!
Hi, I have already commented on this great video, and have just finished my 6th flower! I have found it easier to leave the magic circle slightly looser rather than straight away drawing it completely tight. It's easier to see the next chain to start the petals each time. At the end of the 6, slipstitch into first petal's chain, and finish, then tighten the inner circle right up. It's working well for me doing this.
This is an amazing pattern I am so happy that there is no joining for the sole. Thank you so very much for sharing you are very clear and concise and I appreciate you sharing this pattern. Keep up the good work.
Hi Robin .. thank you for sharing your talents with us .. this is one of the most clear cut tutorials ever .. I'm making a stuffed sun bonnet sue for my granddaughter in Perth Australia.. i shall be making this flower for the hat .. thanks again.. lotsa love from Johannesburg South Africa xxx
