- At one point we all regret some of our decisions. These are 3 of my " faux pas' "when it comes to designer bag investments. I hope this video reaches you before you make a regrettable purchase.
Why do I regret getting these bags? I consider something a good buy when it either holds value or gives me a lot wear out of it. The bags in this video fall short of that which means I lost quite some money on them without getting a lot of wear out of them.

I’ve always loved the Balenciaga bag and I’ll still use it, it’s soooo my style. I have one “inspired” in lilac and use it during spring and summer 😍 For me it’s a classic bag
SO GOOD to hear! The balenciaga bag is one of the greatest bags of the last decade ( if you watch the "IT BAG" from Vogue) One thing I felt when holding the bag during filming was...i am still in love with it & am not letting it go.
after three years in luxury handbags, I’m in love with LV monogram bags and crystal matelasse Miu Miu bags again. Not sure why but I’m disappointed with Miumiu in its secondhand price but I still want to have it😅

I would never spend that much on a clutch. They’re not versatile enough nor do you get your money’s worth (ie. usage). If I want a designer clutch, I go to the secondhand market. I LOVE my Balenciaga bag. I got it for $500 on the resale market. That’s about how much they are...somewhere between $500-$700.
Hi, darling! The bag from MiuMiu is so cute, it is really so great for summer and spring evenings😍. The clutch from Tom Ford is beautiful, but I fully understand your regrets about it. The bag from Balenciaga is cute, slouchy. I really hope you rotate these begs more this year.

Huge Balenciaga fan! I have a few cities and 1 velo. I am, like you mentioned, one that doesn’t worry about the resale value because I Really Really love it and had to have it! Pricey... yes, but I squeeze every dollar out of them ☺️ I have a modest little collection of them but am always stalking instagram just to admire other ladies’ (and some gentlemen’s) Balenciagas.

I know this is old but as someone who works in the fashion field - if u want to get best return on Balenciaga hold onto it for another 5-7 years…its coming back around so you’ll likely be able to get decent return at that point

Aww. Tom Ford's design is amongst some of the best designers, i love the quality of their goods & i also understand why we want to invest into buying those brands that are recognizable. That was my delimma too, but the clutch bag was makes such a statement - i couldn't help it. You should buy what your heart tells you to.

I'm sorry honey, but that Tom Ford bag is not it. The giant buckle is hideous. That alone should have stopped you from purchasing it. It doesn't even look like it's well made. I don't care for how it's constructed. It's very clunky. The clasp might as well have been made out of that cheap shiny black plastic because it's fared just as well as that material. You hid the scratches very well with the right lighting, but they are completely visible when in normal light. As far as the Miu Miu, I completely disagree. You seem to be easily influenced by what people say is in or out. I wouldn't be surprised if your entire closet was full of regretful purchases. Without the crystal chain, the bag becomes a luxurious neutral. It's something that could be worn in day to day life. Like with a pair of jeans, or a cute little skirt. The versatility is what I believe makes it a good investment. I don't care for that particular color and material on the Balenciaga bag, but it's still the Quintessential Balenciaga classic. Just sell the Tom Ford and put the cash towards Chanel. That is the best fashion investment you could make!

Rhona, I understand some of us are really in love with a particular style, it seems like the motorcycle bag is that bag for you. But fashion trends do change faster than you and I think, and this is just my personal opinion. Don't take it to heart.

lol Ick. "Iconic"? There are many bags that are iconic; it's all about one's style. It's not called the "motorcycle" bag, "Rhona" (lol) - it's the CITY bag. And I happen to hate it. I love many other Balenciaga bags, but this tacky thing Naw. Pass. IMO, it's overdone, gaudy, tasteless, and pedestrian...and calling it the "City" bag is a misnomer. I think Balenciaga was trying to appeal to the WalMart crowd with this one. Hey! Just like someone who would favor biker bars - so you're probably right - "Motorcycle" bag is much more apropos. And must more your style. :)
The city bag is a classic for Balenciaga but isn't trendy anymore. Though the mini version is cool. I remember when everyone wanted the bag in the early to mid 2000's and if it was out of your budget there was a similar Botkier bag that was a popular alternative.

You talk about the bag, describing it as a salesperson and not saying the intrinsic of your video title. You talk more about fashion and not why you regret it. Too much blah, blah, blah and not focus on your subject
