My wife and I just leased a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE. We got it for the backup camera and because it was a first lease. A little higher on the monthly payments than we wanted, but with a first lease everything is covered. Downsides? Only choice of color was Super White, which shows all the dirt, and we're both in our 70's so not used to all the gadgets on the dash. I'll figure them out eventually; she won't. I've noticed a lot of older women like simplicity... crank windows, doors with keyholes, not so much powered this and that. Learned real quick that the backup camera is not much use in foggy, damp or snowy weather; the lens fogs up and builds up with dirt. As for the front facing camera for lane drift, in cold weather like we get here in Vermont, when the windshield frosts or fogs up, it's not much use until the defroster clears the top of the windshield. Same with snow on the road covering up the road lines regarding lane drift. Both features would be fine in good weather, but they have their limits of use in certain weather. This was a learning experience for us, never had these bells and whistles before. But I tried the new cruise control that slows the car down when the driver in front is going slower than the cruise control is set and it works fine. Overall I like the car and its features. Being able to control the temperature inside the car is a great feature and saves my wife from turning the fan down or off and cracking the window open, an irritation to both of us in our old 2013 Corolla LE. As I told the dealer, we wanted a "turnkey car", just get in it and go. That's what we have in our new Corolla LE, and I'm sure we'll be happy with it for the next three years of our lease. Now if they could just lower the price a bit...

@@casimirojaviel8327 There’s lots of used Corollas out there but you just have to check multiple sites. You might not have the color you want near you.

Toyota Corolla hatchback has Apple play! And the xse has a sunroof! That’s the one I want. Why don’t they all have Apple play? Why do they all have such low HP?

Just curious, do people actually still use satellite radio? As a teen (19), I haven't met anyone that does.

Hiya Archie how's Riverdale??? Yes I watch that show haha......A lot of my customers ask for it, although younger customers don't use it as much. My 18 year old daughter only listens to the 2000's station when I drive with her (Ch. 10). Thanks for watching and I hope you stick around and comment on all my vids! Jeff

I used it for years but got sick of their requirement that you have to have an auto-pay subscription so I told them to F-off and haven't used it since. Howard Stern was the only reason I listened, but he's gotten lame in the last few years so I'm not missing anything.

Davin Peterson honestly I love apple car play because I have an iPhone buy I would asume that if you have an android you'd like android auto better because you are more used to it

Is it possible to remove the fancy electronics and a/c controls in the XSE model? I like all the exterior and interior of the xse, but I prefer for it not to have the extra digital stuff...

I hate to say it but, the massive grilles on the Toyota and other cars is beyond hideous. Just imagine the damage amount in even a minor front end mishap. And Honda ruined the rear of most their models with jagged, weird shaped rear lights. The clean, attractive lines of the Kia, Hyundai, and Chevrolet are extremely attractive.

Chevy is attractive to repair shop. My 1st new car is 07 malibu, it was more attractive looking than most mid size sedan back then, but I aint buying any chevy no more. I dont know enough about kia and hyundai.
