Uni Knot and Snell Knot ***BEST WAY TO TIE THEM

There is no shortage of fishing knots, but there's only a handful any fisherman needs to be suited for most any situation. My two favorite knots are the UNI KNOT and the SNELL KNOT. Here's how to tie them both.

That last knot tutorial looks like there a step missing. As the last loop went around the hook the end on the line was on top but then when the scene cut, the line was pointed towards the bottom of the hook. How did it get to that position?

EVERYBODY!
At 3:57 you have probably noticed the tag end goes from being outside the wraps to inside the wraps. It is meant to be INSIDE the wraps -I filmed this sequence twice and accidentally added the wrong segment in editing! Sorry!
When doing the wraps, the tag end should lie parallel to the hook shank and every wrap should pin the tag end to the shank. After several wraps, the knot should appear as it does at 3:58 in the video.
Again, many apologies and thank you to everyone who pointed this out to me! We'll edit better next time!

That Uni knot isn’t as good as a Trilene knot , you only have a single strand running through the eye of that hook , a Trilene knot will give you a double strand through the eye making it stronger , don’t you think ?
